Sushi Everyday Dan I fish just south of St. Augustine, on any given day we come home with 30-40 grabs between a few of us.....mostly throw the nets out while waiting for something to bite lol unfortunately we don’t have a boat YET, we generally catch lots of whiting, drums (black and red), sheepshead, bluefish, sharks here and there.....but yea fishing is good on this side!! Come on over!!!

Nice! That's a load of crabs. We use to load up on crabs at the Skyway pier in the summer, but never any jumbos. Would love to fish that side someday! Catch crabs and make sushi, sounds solid

I envy you for living in waters infested with crabs.... If i was there, I'd be bringing drum sticks and a dipping net everywhere I go.

Marinate and eat raw? I personally don't think it'll be good idea, but its done in Asia. Fried is the way to go

@@davescheer5038 Happy new year too my man. 2018 was full of changes, so hopefully 2019 will give me more time to create more content. At least I'll squeeze in some fishing time this Spring/summer. Go out and catch some and share your sushi pics on FB so I can see them!

I haven't heard of it. Raw crab meat is pretty mushy, not the best texture.

@@SushiWithDan for eating. on microbiology quality and physical quality. physical quality i focused on using diff type of freezer on storage.

Syifa Othman Would love to read it and learn more. I’ve only seen iqf products when frozen from overseas, the soft blue crabs in the USA are usually sold live.

The past year has been been a marathon, hopefully this year I'll get some downtime to turn some new content.
