Realized that the numbering on ruler would smudge when drawing so used clear tape and ot removed the problem. So for drawing purposes it also protects your art.

I would like to know how to keep the rulers safe and clean from pencil graphite residuals. When ever i use rulers, especially in white papers, there will be graphite spots everywhere that came from under the scale. Thanks a lot in advance for suggesting any idea to prevent that. :)
