Clear concise instructions. When it works...great. When it doesn't....then I seek help. Help. 3 of my 4 apple devices can print to my HP 100nw. The ipad 12 worked up until this morning. Now it recognizes the air printer, but searches out "printer information" but cannot find it and declares the printer as Offline. The printer is not offline. Any advice on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

I have the newer HP printer But whenever I use the air printing it’s always smaller print that comes out. Not like it’s from the hardwired from the laptop. Either from iPad or iPhone. I can’t figure it out

So where I work, we are using an iPad to print customer order receipts. The problem is it's printing off the internal url where the receipt is being printed from. Is there anyway to prevent it from doing this? I have downloaded a bunch of printer apps but they don't seem to offer any option for headers or footers. Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

I can print from my iPhone to my Epson printer. The problem is the safari pages for food recipes have tabs on the recipe that say "Print" when I hit print nothing happens. When I go to the bottom of my iPhone and hit print, it prints 10 pages with all the info of reviews and things I don't want. This function use to work where I hot the "Print" tab in the app and now it s=doesn't work. I suspect a config change on my iPhone that is causing the problem but don't know where to look. My iPhone and my wife's iPhone does the same thing.

I know how to do what you’ve demonstrated. The problem I’m having is when I go back to my iPhone and go to click PRINT, it doesn’t do anything. The PRINT logo is light not bold so something isn’t connected and I’ve spent the better part of the day problem solving to no avail. I’m about ready to jump off a building. So frustrating.

Any suggestions for “no air printers found”? I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. In order to print from any of my Apple devices iPhone, iPad, MacBook I have to turn the printer and the device off. Then turn on the printer and then the device. For some reason it’s losing the connection with my devices. The printer is connected to same Wi-Fi as my devices. Thanks for your help.

Well (9 months later) mine does the exact same thing. At least now I know from YOUR post that I can turn it off & back on to get it to print. I worked on it a few weeks ago & it printed something for me but I now realize I did this off - on thing. Guess that’s what I’ll have to do. Thx for your post.

I try to print, is shows No Printer Selected. Then I select the printer. If I leave it on that screen it goes back to No Printer Selected. If I hit Print, it gives me a print box, then says it cannot communicate with the printer. Both devices are connected to the wifi. I also installed the HP Smart app and it sees the printer, although I had to input the IP address of the printer for it to find the printer. Any thoughts?

Problem is, HP printer became offline when I needed it. While wifi offers convenience, it does not have the reliability of a corded connection to the computer for fool-proof printer usage.

I know I'm not the only one who can't print with my HP wireless printer from my laptop or iPhone 95% of the time, literally. And a few months ago I upgraded from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 13, an I've literally NEVER been able to print one single thing from the phone. It's beyond frustrating. Always get printer offline message and have to unplug and replug EVERY SINGLE TIME for my laptop, and nothing works for the iPhone. When I contacted HP about this issue when it first started a few years ago, they told me it was the type of router I was using. Since then I've gotten 2 new routers, and a new printer (same model HP Photosmart 7855) and the problem persists. I've already read lots of reviews of various printer types that talk of the same problem, so it makes me think that it's going to happen no matter which one I buy. Oh, and I connect my phone directly to the printer with a USB cable and it STILL does not work. Can you please tell me what to do about this? It's absolutely maddening.

I bought this printer ru-vid.comUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
