Printing on a Canon imagePROGRAF large format printer has never been easier. This video takes a look how to print on an Canon imagePROGRAF large format printer using the Canon Printer Driver.

Hello, I am on TX-3100, I have two questions: 1) Is there a "Remove blank Area" function? 2) In which file or location are the "Custom Paper Size" stored? Thanks in advance.
Hello, I have a TM-300. I have 2 issues, I mainly print lines and numbers on canvases, the numbers comes out quite blurry, is there a way of improving the sharpness (I have tried printing in fine and standard mode, not a big difference). Also, I print in either 40x50cm or 40x60cm and I have never been able to print at the right size. I have to print at 102% so that it prints in 40x49.1cm. I use Imageprograf and I have also change the settings on the media configuration tool. Thanks

@@SteveRoche Thanks for letting us know that, Steve. We recommend checking Canon UK's web site at canon.co.uk for information on how to contact their support team. Have a great day!
After talking the canon uk, they said that the printing is 1.5cm shorter (out of 50cm) because we don’t use canon canvases! Really?? Very disappointed by the canon tm300, can’t even print at the right size
Hi, Carlos! We recommend talking to our imagePROGRAF support team so that they can figure out a solution for you. They're available Monday through Friday at 1-800-423-2366. We look forward to your call!
I have a 4600se. When I print an A1 sheet my image is perfect. When I start moving to the larger lengths. (5 meters etc) The design is slightly pixelated, despite me increase the size of the artboard to match the new paper size. When I look at the file in illustrator its perfect. Is there any considerations we need to take into account when printing longer sheets?
Hi, Tom! While bitmap items can only be enlarged but so much before the item's pixels become apparent, vector elements should continue to render cleanly even at larger sizes. While Canon USA hasn't marketed a printer with the model number you mentioned, we have produced the similarly-numbered Canon imagePROGRAF iPF6400SE, and if this is indeed the printer you're using, then you're welcome to give our US-based support squad a call so that they can make sure you've got everything set up correctly. You can reach them at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666). Hope this helps!
Hi! You'll want to check the software you're printing from for layout options. You can also call our US-based support squad for additional advice at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666). Hope this helps!
Can you set all these settings in the LCD touch panel? Can these settings be "locked", once you determine your optimal printing preferences? Thank you!
Hi, Eugene! All the settings shown in this video are accessible only via the printer driver menu on your computer. Older imagePROGRAF models don't have a touch screen, and the touch screens on newer imagePROGRAF models are for accessing the printer's own internal settings only. Once you have everything set up just how you want it, you can save your preferred settings within the driver menu. We hope this helps!
Hi! We posted this video several years ago and it's possible some features may look a little different after a few software updates. If you've got questions on how to find or use a specific feature, our imagePROGRAF support team is ready to assist you. They're open Monday through Friday at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666). Hope this helps!

Hi Canon, I'm currently using Canon ipf671 Imageprograf printer and I'm facing a problem that is when I am printing larger sizes(49inch+) in height it's reducing the image size by 2 or more inches while printing Please provide me solution
Hi, Nikhil! Since the imagePROGRAF iPF671 isn't available in the United States, we here at Canon USA are unable to provide support for it. We recommend contacting the Canon company that serves the country or region your printer was intended for. You'll find them by visiting canon.us/globalsupport and clicking on the map. Hope this helps!
Hello! I would really appreciate your help, i.e. info. My plotter (it's a TM200) keeps trimming like 3 inches of roll paper before each print! So if I print, let's say, one drawing in 10 copies, it will waste 3 inches of paper before each of those. Is this normal behavior for imagePROGRAF machines?
Hi! Our imagePROGRAF support team will be glad to sort that out for you. They're available Monday through Friday at 1-800-423-2366. We look forward to your call!
Hi, Kalay! We recommend finding as much information as you can about the sticker material you want to use and then running it by our imagePROGRAF support team. Hi, Wanga! While imagePROGRAF TM-series printers can handle a wide variety of paper, they do not support printing on canvas. You'll find support for canvas printing on the imagePROGRAF iPF5100, iPF6400, iPF6450, iPF8400, and iPF9400 models. Hope this helps!
