Hi guys, lots of viewers asked me about how to print text messages from iPhone. So, in this video I’m going to show you 3 ways to print messages & imessages from an iphone.
We all use the default ‘Messages’ or ‘iMessages’ app extensively on our iPhone to communicate with our friends, family members, colleagues and so on. There are times you when you wish to print your iPhone text conversation on a piece of paper (for instance if you planning to use your text messages as evidence in a court case). You will be little surprised to know that there is no official way to do that exists. So, in this video I’m gonna share three solutions to print messages from any iPhone. Details here: bit.ly/print-text-messages-me...
Solution 1: The quickest way to print a text conversation on iPhone is by taking the screenshots. It is something that is easy to do and most importantly it is free. Just open the text conversation that you want to print on your iPhone and press the side button and the volume up button at the same time to capture a screenshot. Process to take a screenshot varies as per the model of your iPhone. Repeat the process till you capture the entire conversation. After capturing the entire conversation, you can open the “Photos” app on your iPhone to find the screenshots you’ve just captured and print them one by one.
Limitations of this method: This method isn’t suitable a print a long text conversation especially if you are doing it for legal purposes.
Solution 2: You can also use the iOS Messages Transfer to print texts from your iOS device. It allows you to print messages directly from your computer or you can export your iPhone messages to computer as pdf or html and then print them off. It lets you print your messages with all the meta information like date & time of every text message, so this method is suitable for printing text messages from iPhone for legal & other archiving purposes. If you have a long text conversation or multiple conversations to print, then again, this method is the way to go. It can also help you print WhatsApp messages from your iPhone.
Limitations of this method: You will need to install iTunes on your computer if you have Windows PC and it will take a long time to read your text messages/iMessages if you have lots of picture/multimedia messages on your iPhone.
Solution 3: You can also forward a text conversation to your email address and print it with any printer you have at your home or office. Just long press the text message that you would like to print and tap on “Copy” option. After copying the content of the text message, open any email app on your iPhone, compose a new mail and paste the content that you just copied. Finally, forward the email to your own email address. Later, you can open that email and print the messages you received in that email.
Limitations of this method: This process is time consuming if you want to print a long conversation because you will need to copy-paste each text message one by one. Also, the important meta information like date & time of a text message, sender’s name/phone number will be stripped out while you copy the content of a text message which makes this method unsuitable for printing text messages for legal purposes like a court case or trial.
