3:51 how do I randomize just one axis of rotation? I looked it up and people are saying to use randomize attribute, but it's not coming up when I search for it
So you're not really generating actual environments, you're just scattering objects on a mesh and then turning them into a preset. What if you want to generate terrain with cave systems and procedural overhangs or whatever? Seems like the only kind of terrain I see people generating in blender is a flat plane with a height map to make it look like a generic mountain.
you'd have to go more in depth with your geo nodes. Its possible to add detail and other modular features it just requires a lot more logic and time put into the system
Is Quixel Bridge free for Blender now? In Unreal Engine it’s unlimited assets for free. Not sure if it’s in Blender, you forgot to mention that if it is.
The plugin to add it is free but I think the license for commercial use is limited to outputting via unreal. Not positive on that tbh. Check the link I put in description for the user guide on the blender bridge plugin
Gotcha. I’ll check it out. I’m Getting use to Unreal more and more and trying not to make the full switch lol, Blender is still my go to but I like using both in the pipeline.
