Do I need to attach Family information (IMM 5645) [PDF, 1.42 MB] form with my visitor visa application through New IRCC portal. The general information on ‘‘getting ready to apply’ says thatEach applicant 18 years and older must complete this form andSubmit with visa application.ircc portal has very limited space for attaching docs and this form is too big. Appreciate guidance.

Hello. I hope you respond to my question. I am already at the documents part, however there is no Letter of Invitation tab. Where should i upload my letter of invitation? Another question is if I upload documents, should I put everything in one pdf file with multiple pages for multiple documents? Or how should I do it? Hoping for your help. Thank you so much.

When you have entered in all the information one of the last tabs in the process is "Documents", this comes after the Summary tab. In the Documents Tab you will see a spot for the letter of invitation to be uploaded. 😀 In this tab, you will see all the other places to upload documents, so it will be more clear which documents you should group together. To see this section in the video, go to 26:21. Additionally, if you do not see the Tab you may have selected the wrong option for the question "Why do you need a visa", timestamp: 4:25

Hi June, since this video walks through the Visa process using IRCC we do not need to upload IMM 5645 E form nor any other forms. IRCC has you enter any required information online with the step by step process.

If they are minors you can include them into the same letter of intent. I'm assuming this is a family applying (mother, father and kids), you can have a single letter of intent.

For IRCC you do not use this form, that’s for GCKey

Are you using gckey? If you do so, I believe there are "supporting documents" then it shows Family Information (IMM5645) (required) then instructions and then options and on the options says "UPLOAD FILE"

Hi. I'm the one who is talking on the video. You're very much welcome. Based on my experience you choose "to visit a family who are not listed above or friends for less than 6 months" So that during documents submission you will have a bar button wherein you can attach your invitation letter coming from your fiance. Take note this is very important if you were invited by your fiance to your invitation letter coming from him with his signature. Goodluck!

Hello po ma'am, ako po yung nag-invite sa kanya we chose the options na tinuro niyo sa video which is yung "to visit a family who are not listed...." pero meron pong option ulit sa "Invitation" tab po ng application kung ano po yung relationship ng inviter sa application yung options lang po dun na pag-pipilian is either "family member" or "friend" ask ko lang po ma'am kung alin po dun yung pinili mo po ma'am. @@jeraldinereyes9352choose friend po since fiance pa lang naman po. Pero okay lang sa invitation letter & letter of intent na i-declare na fiance. Wala naman po magiging problema sa ircc. Kasi ganun din po ginawa ko choose "friend" sa part na yan but deneclare sa invitation letter and letter of intent na "fiancee"

You need to make sure there is no gaps in your entries from when you were 18. So you must make sure that every date range is covered. If you were unemployed during a time then you'd show that, if you were in university then you'd show that. You need rows for it all. ⁠you likely have a gap in your work history. You must make sure that from age 18 all time is filled continuously. If you were unemployed for any time, you must have an entry for that

Family information is required when you apply BUT it only needs to be included in the IMM5645 form if you are applying using GCKey. If you are applying using the IRCC online forms, they will ask you to enter that information into the online forms, so you don't have to submit the IMM5645 form. Depending on the type of application you are doing, some people are creating family trees and uploading that to IRCC to show the family connection as an example.

No, the mother of your boy friend is not considered your family. To Visit other Family who are not listed above is for like an aunt, uncle or cousin.

Hi I'm the one who is talking in the video. Just want to let you know if you're planning to apply next year, you don't need to create a new account. You can use the same account you used way back in 2019, then please don't forget to address your refusal/denial because IRCC will still be checking the refusal if you address it and submit all the documents they request or want to be satisfied with for sure you will be approved. @@sarenhae Hi. Theres two ways now for applying for visas for students,tourists etc.. etc.. and if you remember wayback that your consultant or agent used gckey, then you can go to the "new ircc portal" which is the link is on descriptions and you can create new account there..

Hi, no I would not recommend that. The additional documents which are required for GCKEY are to provide the information you will be required to enter into your IRCC application. IRCC is a safer route because it prompts you to provide all the information meaning there is less chance for mistakes. There is a tab in IRCC called documents where you will upload all the required documents such as Invitation Letter, Itinerary, bank statements, etc, you'll do this near the end of your application. Just keep progressing with your application and you'll get to that step 👍

Hii!! Thank you for sharing this video!! I hope you respond to my question. I am already at the documents part. In your video, there was a tab for "Letter of Invitation" but in mine, the first tab is "Immigration status (proof)" and there's no tab for Letter of invitation. Even though I have selected the option for the question "Why do you need a visa": To visit my grandparent, grandchild, sibling, half-sibling, step-sibling or non-dependent child who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian Act or permanent resident of Canada. I don't know what's that document, if you can please help me with this issue. And for more information, I am a citizen of 2 countries, one citizenship that have since birth and the other one, since 2018 that I got from my mom who is a citizen of that country. I don't know if this issue is because of that. I hope you can help me. Thank you so much!! :)

You are not seeing it because you selected a different reason for why you need a visa. You need to select the same one as shown in the video “to visit other family member not listed above or friend less then 6 months”. It doesn’t matter if the person your visiting is permanent resident or not, choose that option and in your invitation letter you will explain who you are visiting and why

If you don’t have any invitation from your sibling then you don’t need to attach it or worry about it. You can keep with the option you had. If you want to have a letter of invitation then you’ll need to do that other option and ask your sibling to send you one. Since this is your sibling you have a stronger case why you are visiting and you need to include all this information in your letter of intent.

@@RKK964 When you are doing your application in IRCC, you enter the family information into the website itself. You do not need to provide that form. The family information you provide can be a family tree, photos, etc which you would attached as supporting documents. If you are applying via GCKey then you need all these different IMM forms however this is not what we did in the video, we used IRCC which does not require them

Nice question, for you to prove a familyties outside canada you can used your family, (e.g your parents, siblings, wife, son/daughter, relatives), during your application on your Statement or purpose or letter of intent, you must provide a proof like there birth certificate showing a proof that your blood related to them or marriage certificate if you will used your wife/husband as your familyties and birth certificate for your kids.

You won’t have an invitation letter then and you wouldn’t be applying for a visitor visa. Instead you would be applying for a tourist visa which allows you to do all the same things but requires different documents. What is the issue you are having? Usually we run into file size limit issues so we have to use a PDF converter to shrink the file by optimizing it. You can usually find free ones online. I don't think uploading pictures of your document is wise, not sure how they would react to that

Hello, if we want to apply as a family group, 3 adults, my mother, my brother and I (I mean, we will fill out 3 applications), is the order in which we start filling out the applications important? I mean, if I complete my application first, would I be the main applicant? (this is how it works for the American visa), or in the case of the Canadian visa for three adults there is no "main applicant" and the order does not matter.? Can I complete them in any order? @@navjotdhiman4776 Invitation letters have different tabs. You should be seeing an "Invitation letter" then attach the file for the invitation letter on that TAB.

@@Surrwin Sorry i mean i submit mine in the additional information not in the Fund of prove ! so i got refused based on my work situation did i submit it in the wrong field??? cuz it's %100 the officer didn't see the employment letter because i applied the most mandatory document which is Employment letter in the opitional one ! should i apply it in the Funds of prove?

@@AS.MA_ Asma, you can not say they saw or didn't see your employment letter, etc. The office does not provide this information so you have no bases to make that statement. Whenever you are submitting any document, you need to make sure to clearly label every document. We have seen over and over again people who got refused and submitted 20-30 documents or more but didn't provide any label or description of what each document is. People seem to expect the office has hours to go through their applications but they don't. They have hundreds of applications coming to them in a week. whenever you submit any application you need to make it as EASY as possible for them. I don't know your situation but keep that in mind when you apply again in the future

That's not true and makes no sense 🤣🤣🤣 You are crazy. IRCC has higher approval rate then GCKey and they always give a reason why you would get refused
