I have to say it's definitely got a very nice catch to it, especially with the drums. I think you made the right call with giving it the extra progression, not only because it's a pretty good progression but also because it kinda filled in the gaps, at least that's what I believe. Also the guitar has a perfect reverb, it almost sounds like it was hit with a WAH pedal too but not so much that it drowns out the natural sound of the guitar. Did you ever release this on your beats channel? If so could you tell me what the title is? Because this is definitely something I could vibe to so keep up the good work!

I don't think the FLP would be much use unless you had all the exact same plugins that I do! But I do plan to have other FLPs that will actually work available soon 🙂

I really wish I could add my own vocals to my beats but unfortunately my singing voice is AWFUL 😂 that's usually why I stick to just instrumentals or add vocal chops in my beats to try and do the trick ;)

the only thing that frustrates me about this tutorial is the fact most of it are extra plugins and no indications on what they are!!! for someone whos completely new it really doesnt help

Sorry about that! I should have made it more clear in this one, and I'll be sure to do that going forward! Here's a breakdown of the plugins that I used for each part of this beat: - Drums (got the loop from Splice) - Piano (I think I used Kontakt, but it's a pretty basic piano sound) - Bass (I used Trillian) - Guitar Melody (I used Kontakt, added a bunch of reverb with Valhalla VintageVerb) - Guitar Chords (I used Nexus 2) - Ambience & Textures (I used Arcade)

I'd disagree, it doesn't cost a lot to get started. For years I made beats with only the free demo version of FL Studio and the sounds it comes with. When I started to make money off of music I invested it back into buying more software and equipment. It took me years to save up enough for all these plugins 😂 but honestly I think there are soooo many free resources for producers these days to make really good music. If you search on RU-vid for free one-shot samples or free sound kits you'll find a bunch. if you google free plugins you'll find a bunch. The default plugins in FL Studio are pretty decent too. If you take the time to learn them they can give you a lot of value.

@@omitobeats2 okok, I think it might be what im trying to produce (authentic indie rock music) which from natural plugins is very hard with not many tutorials to guide me through on what sounds better! Guess i'll have to stick the basics before doing anything to complexe
