Thank you for making this video. Like you, I like to DIY where I can. My new to me 07/G1/150 only has 110 hours on it and is in like new condition. I want to keep it that way with good preventative maintenance. Great additional comments from you about the Back Pressure Fitting and VST filter. Those covers are such a PITA to get off and back on. :D
So, very nice, but only for new injector, if you are installing a used injector with zero cycles so Emm will think is a new a new injector and will not compensate aging. Good if you don’t use that engine on high rpm ranges. Brp created scan labels to install new injectors Reusing injectors, data has to be pulled from donor emm, or requested from BRP CALL CENTER with approximate engine hours
Great informative video & fishing videos as well, how long did the company in Netherlands take to fix emm? And approx how much did it run to get it done? Im on the same boat searching all over for who still repairs them and is there some etec years that cant be repaired? I have an 05-225, thanks for the info, keep up the good videos!
@@carlosMako They couldn’t fix my emm. So, I ended up getting a replacement engine for a great price and just swapped out engines. I’ll sell the old engine for parts soon.
Great Video, thanks! Question, My EMM LED2 is illuminated indicating an ignition/injector problem, Diagnostic Software said Injector 1 Open. I changed the injector, input the coefficient info and cleared the faults. LED2 will NOT turn off, engine will start but only run for 10 seconds. I have even rebooted the software on the EMM, with the "Bootstrap" cable. Seems the LED2 circuit did not get reset, any ideas how to ensure it gets reset?
@@mathewlacroix7630 I wish I could help with that man. I’d check out the etec forums on Facebook. Those guys have a lot of knowledge. Thanks for watching
Nice video what is the weakest link with these engines form you experience? I bought 2 new G1 150hp in 2019 and still under warranty, is it the EMM? How many hours on the engines? Thanks
It’s gotta be the emm. One of mine is currently in the Netherlands being fixed. I’ve got 1200hrs on them and they have been great besides the emm taking a crap last month.
@@carlosMako I recommend you join this Facebook group. Lots of help here. The guy in the Netherlands is the only one I've read about that fixes the EMM's, but there may be others. facebook.com/groups/435348760355243
