I have the green scout with the dot paws and when I program the teddy bear like you did, the teddy bear only said my son's name and not his favorite food and color
I hope they didn’t change that option. But if it’s still the same after you confirm the child’s name the choose your child’s favorites window should pop out. Maybe start over with it and try again. Hope it works for you
Here is what you need to do to customize your 2 in 1 Leaptop Touch. STEP 1: MAKE SURE THAT YOU NEED TO PRESS M AND P AT THE SAME TIME, AND THEN ENTER PARENT MODE. STEP 2: YOU NEED TO TYPE IN APPROPRIATE NAMES FOR EXAMPLE: WITHERSTORM, LOGAN, NUNYA, ETC (WARNING: IF YOU TYPE IN A SWEAR WORD AS YOUR NAME, THE LAST LETTER OF THE SWEAR WORD IS CENSORED DUE TO VANDALISM). Alright! Your name is confirmed and ready to be showed up on screen! Press a letter button, and it will show up your name spelled out. Have fun!
Yes, you can connect a My Pal Scout to an iPad. You can personalize your My Pal Scout with your smartphone, tablet, or computer. If the plug on the iPad doesn’t match the insert on scout, people usually go find the correct plug on Amazon. Sometimes the old or new iPads have different plugs, than the a toy like scout would have.
I believe you can do a factory reset on them. Try this: On Scout, go to Settings > Diagnostics > Factory Reset. To complete the reset, press Yes. Let me know if that works.
I literally can’t get scout to connect, I’ve redone it over and over on different devices at that… called customer service still can’t get him to work:(
Oh wow sorry to here that, we’ll you’ve narrowed it down so far, you tried different devices and didn’t work. It could be maybe the cable itself does not want to connect. Also try replacing with new batteries. Worth a try
I’m not sure what version you have but once you plug it in you should be able to do these steps. From any main screen, go to Settings. Press Language. Use the + and - buttons to scroll to your preferred language. Press Save. Let me know if that helps
@@silvastories you can use your phone to you know. The only thing I don't like about it is you can't change or pick what songs you want it to play and there's a few on the toy that I don't like.
@@Liliana_and_friends yeah the phone is an option as well but your right can’t change the songs. At least at that time when I bought mine for my grandson haven’t looked at the latest editions lately, but maybe soon they’ll have more options.
@@silvastories Thanks so much for uploading this video I always wanted to see how this website looked from a computer screen now I know it doesn't look any different from doing it from a phone or a tablet! 😆 Yeah maybe. They've had this version of Scout and violet out for almost a decade now so I doubt they'll make a fourth version of them after 10 years of having them out but hopefully someday they'll decide to add my to the website or something, maybe they should add the child's birthday to the toy how cool would that be? 😉
@@Liliana_and_friends yeah that would be cool for sure I have a second grandchild and might get another scout when she is ready for it. But would be cool to add your own music birthdays etc for sure 🤓
Interesting question. Not sure why it wouldn’t work in the uk since all Pal Scouts are created by the same company. Unless there is an update that you haven’t done on scout. Or the programming is done differently in the UK. All in all there should be a step by step Manuel in the scout you got regardless where you bought it from. Hope that helps
This one is a wierd process, but depending on the year you got it, or model, you can reprogram your leapfrog on this website www.leapfrog.com/es-es/support/select-my-pals. Uninstall the English version and install the Spanish version. But I believe from my research it only change the name and fruit but not when it says “my name is”. Leapfrog did not think of doing this when they designed my pal scout or violet. Just go to the site and have the bear plugged in. Follow the directions from there. Hope that helps some.
