For the record, you reversed the Menu and Mode button. Mode changes kpm/mph; Menu goes back to tire size.

I recently purchased the Cateye Padrone. I wanted something simple and inexpensive to mount on my bike so I would not run my battery down on my phone using GPS. I have a weekly goal of miles to ride and. This offers -miles ridden but several more settings. If you are installing a Padrone for the first time, use the tire measure on your tire to match the number for the Padrone. Then, use the GPS on your phone and identify if the number inputted into the Padron is accurate. The accuracy of the Padrone depends on where the fork/spoke sensors are located. High on the fork or low. The computer will detect different measures depending on the sensor. I had to lower my tire size number by 250 in the Padrone settings to match a GPS distance traveled. I used the Cateye app on my phone to test a short ride and compared it to the Padrone. Nice app! I'm not sure if a more accurate measure would have come if I mounted the sensor higher or lower on my forks. I put it in the middle and didn't want to remount it several times to identify the best position. The directions do not offer any assistance or recommendation. It was a bummer because before I calibrated my Padrone, I thought I took a 10 mile ride when in fact is was barely over 8 miles.

how can you activate the backlight... send help please

I've had Cateye for many decades and this is by far the most difficult to progam. They could not have made those buttons any smaller if they tried and there is not tactile sensation at all. The menu button is recessed so it is especially hard to press. Like this guy you have to keep turning it over. Took a half hour. Way too long.

PROBLEM.. hopefully you can help? I purchased the Pedrone for my Cannodale Bad Boy 1... This bike has a thick round front (lefty) fork that is making it difficult to mount the speed sensor.. SUGGESTIONS? Thank you

May I Know why my Padrone couldn't start in Auto ? I have checked the distance between the sensor and magnet is 27 inches, and It was in comply range. And also I checked the position of the computer faced to the magnet sensor in correct position. But it didn't start in Auto start. But When the bike computer is in Measurement screen ,and when I start riding the bike, the display shows the speed. I would like to request for you to get Auto Start from sleep mode, when I start move the bicycle. Thanks in Advanced.

How do I turn it off??

I have to reset everything. But I cannot get the attachment to the bike, off the computer so I can access the buttons. I don't want to force things and then end up breaking a part.
