Next week - we will be covering setting your G20 to a specific MIDI channel so you could use it in conjunction with other units that receive MIDI, such as delays & reverbs.
There are many reasons to want to try this out. To start: try making a clean, rhythm & lead sound with PCs, such as clean channel wide on, gain channel blue aggression, & finally gain channel red aggression wide on. You could then cycle between these instantaneously! If you are utilizing something with pedal loops such as a Helix, Boss, RJM, MusicomLab, or GigRig unit - you could also bring different pedals in & out of the signal chain while recalling an amp state with the press of one footswitch!
