@@MAnnnooo1 Não é nem um nem outro. O certo é falar o “u” fazendo biquinho (tipo francês). Não existe esse som em pt, mas a pronuncia parece com “Biundtchen”.

@@AmokBR Na verdade, também não é assim 😅 o "ch" nessa palavra se pronuncia como nas palavras "Ich" e "Mädchen", porque nesse caso o "chen" é um sufixo (que na maioria das vezes representa diminutivo). Nesse caso seria uma forma de diminutivo de "Bund" (banda ou faixa), e "Bündchen" seria uma forma de "faixa pequena", mas é mais usado pra se referir a golas ou mangas das roupas.

I love our brazilian accent when we speak english. I can't stand people obssessed in losing their accents and sounding "like an american"(which is impossible, as americans have 64376287346 accents...😄). My heart gets extra warm when I see brazilians kicking ass elsewhere and expressing themselves without worrying about their (cool) accents.

just to educate you all here: Brazilians are made of Japanese, Europeans, Sirian, Lebanese, African and Native Indians. And we are all mixed up between these races. Again: we are not made of Africans only.

Não é que ela não queira, mas sim que é muito, mas muito difícil perder o sotaque da sua língua nativa quando se aprendeu o novo idioma depois de grande. A pronúncia sempre fica diferente da de um falante nativo do idioma

@@affonsocordovil2932 Na vdd perder o sotaque é até fácil mas é um exercício específico. Ela foca mais no vocabulário e na capacidade de comunicação, mas se ela quisesse perder o sotaque seria de boa, considerando que é fluente.

Discordo do que disseram aqui. Se ela quisesse perder o sotaque, PRA ELA, seria fácil. Mas acaba sendo uma marca dela o sotaque. Sofia Vergara fez isso ha anos! Então acho que é uma boa manter. Moro no Canadá e tem diferença daqui pros EUA, e as pessoas mantém o seu sotaque. Não tem nada de errado nisso.

not really, her accent is softer than sofias and a bit less harsh because brazilian portuguese sounds more flowy than spanish, spanish is harsher(? source: i speak spanish

Forget her looks, Gisele is a freakin' powerhouse of a woman. She is SO FKN SMART, it's scary. Every time I see her, the moment she starts talking, I forget how beautiful she is and fall in love with her brains. The fact we were born not only in the same country, but in the countryside of the very same state makes me kind of proud! =)

I'm from Brazil, I've only been in the US for 6 years and my American husband says I don't have a thick accent like her. I swear to God I don't try to sound American or lose my Brazilian accent, it just comes naturally to me, maybe because I don't speak jn Portuguese for most of the time and unfortunately I have no Brazilian friends or family near me. I go months without speaking in Portuguese sometimes. And of course I have an accent, but it's not as thick as Gisele's or Anitta's, for example. And I appreciate when people compliment my English and accent. ❤ My next goal is to learn a new language, maybe Spanish or Italian.

From where are you from? People from São Paulo, for example van get closer to the American accent because our R's are pronounced like the American R's. Americans tell me that I have no accent and I'm not forcing it, I just feel free to use my R's.

Probably Not even her can pronounce her German surname. I know some “teuto brasileiros” (german Brazilians) and most off then speak their last name in a “abrasileirado” whey (or It is a easy to say name, like Muller)

@@TheMartamartins they probably speak their surnames with regional dialect variances, like Hunsrükisch, instead of Hochdeutsch. most teuto brazilians I know pronounce german words and sounds like ü much better than US Americans. How many I know? You said you know SOME teuto-brazilians. For me, over 80% of classmates and friends have german surnames. And my mother in law and my wife can speak german. So yeah, my kids are half teuto brazilians (and yes, half, because from my wife's side, it's only teuto brazilians as far back as we were able to do her genealogical tree)

She is brazilian. Now, genetically speaking is hard to say because both her parents have german (or german-like) surnames... I'd say some brazilian along the way but mostly german.
