The case after the vowel does not sound as “soft d”, it sounds like “L”. 😃 I never come through with my pronunciation in Duolingo with the word “Frede” with the level of D softness it requires 😊

@@DanishTubeRocks According to what I know about this language, it has six or five ways to pronounce the letter r, and sometimes it may be read as the letter a. Of course, I am still learning it, so maybe I will find things more amazing than this!?

@@DanishTubeRocks but how ? It is like an r and an l and a d at the same time to me, or not ? Also it's wierd, why Germanic languages are hard to learn and have a lot of strange letters and pronunciations ?
