I learned french in another country. Now, I am learning English and I have problems with the "shwa" of English. Thanks for your help, now I know the "e" of French is similar that the "shwa" of English.
I found your video helpful only because i can speak french but for someone just learning you speak to fast. If solw down your video would be very helpfulml is that is your goal.
I usually use Wordreference or fr.wiktionary, and the words rêver, prêter, etc... sound with double é but rêve, prêt, etc.. sound with è. (11:12) dépêcher \de.pe.ʃe\ dépêche \de.pɛʃ\ Bon vidéo également
@@BlaBlaKaity ok! Could you please confirm what would be the correct sound for mexicain?)) in my logic that should be a regular e but I hear smth like è 😅
@@Ana-jq9qy Certainly ! Your ears are correct :) it's the è sound. mex-i-cain - since "e" is followed by "x," which is a pronounced consonant sound, the "e" has the same sound as "è" and "ê." It's the same as "EXprès," and "EXplication." Hope this helps!!
