The most hated word for me is Three. And two more (that weren't in your video) are World and word. I'm struggling with the movement from R to L in World, and from 'Wo' to R in word.
Hey, I`m from Norway, and we do have alot different sound in our pitch and melody, its kinda hard adjusting it to sound more american english. And I am about to make me a youtube channel with storytelling. But I want to sound more american english. I know how to "speak", but it sound so "NorwayEnglish" in pitch/melody. Can you recomend one(or more of your videos that can help me get better at this? Thanks 🙂
So good ! What I find tricky is when we add "it that... for exemple : About it, about that, You've to deal with it... Have you released a video about that ? YOU ROCK 🔥
My least favorite word to pronounce is "imbecile". Even now, writing it, I'm not sure where the stress goes and what kind of "i" it has, if it's short or long and also how many syllables it has.
My most hated words are the ones related with direct, directed, director, etc because they seem to have so many ways to pronounce the "di" I never get it rigth.Congratulations for your videos.!
What a helpful video, Hadar! All words were once challenging for me, but many aren't anymore, thanks to the exercises in your programs. I still have some issues with the cluster R + flap T + schwa + R (reporter, harder, order), but with your tips, I know I'll overcome this. Thank you! 😊😘
Mine is definitely r+t/d+r. I actually make a similar sound (I kinda curl the tip of my tongue and touch the roof of my mouth) because I just can't make the flap t/d properly.
Try this: DAW….der Skip the “gh” altogether. I am a native English speaker from New England and that’s the way everyone I know pronounces it. I hope you do well in your efforts to learn English 🙂 I watch Hadar because her tips are useful to anyone trying to learn any foreign language, not just English.
@@hadar.shemesh you know what? After a few attempts with the word 'reporter,' I succeeded and I said... 'journalist'! Haha, joking... now it's much, much better. But I have a question: Why can I pronounce the word 'thirty' correctly but not 'party'? I mean, why is the second one much more difficult to pronounce? Thank you in advance. You are great! 🥰🥰
