Her Name looks like a Shi'ah name so she must mean Maula as Aliؓ but I have never seen a common Shi'ah learning Quran so she may be Sunni and from India or Pakistan where people call Muala to Allah too.

assalam ulai kum, Akhi ... just sharing my understanding and I feel, this "shadda issue" is because in Quran Majid "spoken words" have been "transcribed for their sounds as heard by prophet(pbuh)" but at the same time due to merging of spoken sounds while writing/scripting Arabic language scripting rules too have been followed. In case I am wrong, please do correct me. Allah knows the best!
