Yang Guang (Chinese 阳光 Yáng Guāng "sunshine") is a male giant panda born on 14 August 2003 at Wolong Panda Base. He is the only male panda living the UK.
Yang Guang arrived in Edinburgh in December 2011 together with a female panda named Tian Tian. They are on a 10-year loan from the Bifengxia Panda Base in China.
Due to the Covid and financial pressures, Yang Guang may have to return to China with Tian Tian.
