Good video. I’ve been having cornrows in ever since July and just kept getting them rebraided so I should see new hair growth when I’m done with braids.
I thought you only used leave in conditioner for after washing your hair? I have another moisturizer I use everyday for my hair then I use my shea moisture curl & shine conditioner nd then apply oil. Idk if I should change that up ? Thoughts please.
You definitely shouldn’t be washing your hair 3-4 times a week. That’s way too abrasive for your hair and is probably stripping your hair. I recommend washing your hair every 2-4 weeks
You can get your damp (not wet) and apply either a leave in conditioner with oil, or just oil and use either your hands or a pick to shape your hair the way you want it. Just don’t detangle your hair in the process
Get a mousse. They are lightweight, and you can keep adding product for better curl definition. It's a quick-drying product, so you can add a gel, cream, or a custard to weigh the curls down. Mousse will let you skip the hours of having wet hair and there no flaking gel cast. it's perfect for 3 and 4 type hair, imo pattern beauty has the best 1.
