How to properly & safely set a snap trap 

It worked! I could set them up safely and quickly. Before watching your video, I watched others and read their comments. A number of people broke or hurt their thumbs or fingers. Very scary! Now, I just have to wait for the mice. God bless you!

Before you setup the Triger you better put the peanut butter , or a small piece of cheese then setup the trigger . Because if you do that after setting up the Trigger , it will be pupped when you add the cheese.

failed miserably until I realized that you can not put too much bait ....otherwise to heavy to set the trap

You should put the bait on the trap first, I believe.

Holy shit I actually set one

also, sometimes the trigger wire, is slightly too short, and the staple that connects it to the wood needs to be bent slightly forward so it doesn't keep slipping before you can set it properly... not always as easy as it seems to set these things. some traps you get lucky with, others need to be tweeked a little before you can make them usable

Does that wire u put into were u put into the hole inside have to upside or forward

my issue i have is when i set the trap on ground it goes off an i actually though i lost the tip of my finger

Lol u probably should have baited it before u set it...also it has two settings hard and soft.

I can't get mine to say they snap as soon as I let go of them

Forget it! Snappy traps are always a pain in the ass to set. Save yourself the hassle go at Canadian Tire, buy some sticky traps and bait in the middle a little blop of peanut butter. I guarantee you will catch a mouse.
