I painted for almost 30 years.I always hit my edges first then the top of the door down to the bottom to eliminate overspray.

full fan, full fluid ,20-ish psi depend on gun and aircap. basic settings, then tune fluid with trigger pull amount. faster is better finish I find.. also faster is more turnover = more dollars.. I try to use medium reducer wherever I can, good balance of dry time and melt in..

The set up is standard and it works. Different brands of paint affect these recommendations, but these settings will work with most. Gun speed dictates a lot. At times it’s all in the wrist!

I'm always thrilled to see how people work with it today. I worked as a car painter for 23 years, which brings back memories and the urge to do it again. What I noticed, correct me if I saw something wrong, but above the door where the light ends below, do I see a small dent or is that misleading? otherwise great paintwork 👍

You may have all the experience, but the technique is absolutely wrong, The rule of painting, always paint from the top and work your way down, not the other way around.

Great job though I personally would liked it prime. Not crazy about red cars unless is a Ferrari or a really high performance vehicle. And no chrome. As chrome is for old 1970s Cadillacs. The ones my great Grandpa loved.
