I'm having a MAJOR problem. I tried to upload a 3 hour movie in 1080P HD and it said it was going to take 1,988 minutes. That over 24 hrs. My computer will crash before it finishes uploading for that long. What do I do???????????????? I do NOT want to break it up into smaller videos either.

Well that is just an estimate that RU-vid makes your videos upload faster depending on your internet speed

I need to upload from an Android tablet. I can't get the desktop vr (thanks RU-vid), and can't find the upload link. I don't have a channel, either. Can't find out where to make one. Go to your photo album and pick a video then click the little button on the bottom left corner then it will ask you to sign in then title, description will pop up

Jzilla Ok, i know how to fix it. First i need to know what your using to edit your videos. If its movie maker, when you file it, you select "for PC" or computer. This shortens the upload time greatly. If your using Sony Vegas, im assuming its the latest version, 13.8, If it is well i dont know

You left out checking the box for sending UPLOAD NOTIFICATION out. You must do that during the upload! Otherwise, after it's published it can never be sent to those who tap the bell!

While you're uploading click on Advanced Settings directly below the active upload bar, scroll down to the line of text about sending out a notification video alert message and check the box next to it.

You left out the explanation of what a tag is! I've been lumbered with putting a short audio tape on You Tube with a photo to prevent boredom. There's no advice that I can find. The process described is brilliant for those who know the ropes already.

I have the Gopro 7 black. You can film in 2.7K then upload to RU-vid in 1080p. Unless you're filming a wildlife documentary for the big screen, no need for 4K

I use MP4, but you can also try AVI. I reccomend MP4 as it is good quality and small file size. DO NOT USE FLV IT IS NOT SUPPORTED!

Hi there. In all of this mess on RU-vid I found you perfectly explaining to my brain how things works. I am following you .supporting you . Bell. All. My question is what settings have to be changed on my channel to be "aproved" by youtube. Such as LTV(which I don't have idea what it is and can not find one single info about it on youtube) Or does it have to be 4 k video and how to do it with maximum HD regular camcorder. Or what ads have to be ON that RU-vid is interested in promoting your channel. Channel settings basically. Thank you so much for all you are doing. It’s really cool. Thanks. Sincerely how does one use the best picture of a video on beginning of video. You record a video and upload and something else appears within that video. Please come to my rescue. Again if the video is about politics and news, can one leave it in a category of Pets and animals?

Thanks , That really helps me. I just started out 3 weeks ago. So far, I don’t think I have very good tags. I have changed a few tags and I pick up a few more views. I didn’t know we could have so many tags. Oh my channel is " Miss Ginah Bookshelves”. I read kids books aloud. I have 7 subscribers, so I not ready to give up just yet. Anyway, thanks for your good advice.

My videos once taken are very clear but one I upload them they become blurry . Is it a network issue ?

hey Derral maybe you can answer my question as i have sent emails to certain users and im yet to get a 100% clear answer . anyway here it is i have my own youtube channel am i able to upload another persons video to my PLAYLIST so if there are people coming on to my channel and click into my playlist to view MY OWN videos but see this other video and they click on it is that ok . i am NOT going to be copying this other persons video its just going to sit in my own playlist i am NOT going to be editing it or anything else
