it works on some perfume even some perfume give instructions to put perfume for 2 to 3 days for good performance, it does not mean you will put perfume always in fridge,
Also i recommend storing perfumes in their original box. IDK maybe collectors have so many perfumes that they don't have enough space to store them in original box. And honestly they don't look cool in a box but gets the job done.

Thank you so much for busting this myth guruji. Just one small thing that I have experienced recently. I kept 3-4 extremely cheap (under 500 rupees some of them even less than 200) fragrances in my freezer for the first 3-4 days after spraying some 20-30 sprays and then after I take it out and bring it back to the room temprature the fragrance is more potent. But I have also experienced a slight change in notes. I would never recommend doing this with expensive fragrances, I myself don't do it but do try once with a cheapie.
@zen_anresh I think its like a hit or a miss Maine miniso woody journey aur wildstone whiskey k saath Kiya toh they ended up lasting for days on my clothes lekin same chiz Maine blanko dusk aur bitter peach k ek bahaut saste clone k saath Kiya toh uske notes ajeeb se ho gaye overly sweet , almost choking, I would never recommend this for any expensive perfume though

Hello Sir, Pls make one video on Attar also. I have Ruh Khus no.1, Attar Shamama and Dahnal Oud hindi since 3-4 years. There is some wax type substance is visible at bottom of the bottle.
I have a question:- why perfumes, attar, ruh etc changes when season changes example summer to winter? As you said dont put your perfume bottle in fridge
@@PerfumeGuru rate of evaporation....isn't it is going to be same as season changes or keeping bottles in fridge? Means property of cold temperature is almost the same whether it is fridge or season?
Is whiskey/scotch kept in the refrigerator ? But beer can be kept. So everything depends on the concentration of oils and his preparations are fresh out of box not pre aged like commercial perfumes. So keeping in fridge for a few days will dehydrate the scent and make it smell better. You don't have to store it in fridge. Kar ke dekh lo. Khud samajh aa jayega.
@@PerfumeGuru Han, I mean he says to keep it inside for initial couple of days, not forever. Even I follow the general practice to keep it in the dark and away from moisture.
I have a question. Maine 2-3 perfumes apne refrigerator mai - 5-7 mai rakh kr for 3days then 2 days baad usko dark area mai rakh kr uski performance badhte experience kiya hai. Uska ya toh note thoda chnge hita hai ya longivity badh rhi hai. Negative impact nhi aya abhi tak kisi mai. Iss process ko macerate krna nhi bolte kya?
Maceration tabhi shuru ho jata hai jab perfume oil ko alcohol mein mix kiya jata hai. Usually 4 weeks mein ye process complete ho jata hai. It helps to mix the contents well. If the perfumes are kept on and off in a refrigerator for sometime the perfume oils get separated and the mix is spoilt. It's not worth. Kitna performance badha ?
@@PerfumeGuru longivity and peojection increase hua tha. Ye main unhi perfumes par krta hu jo thoda weak hai from the beginning. Beardo Mariner, beardo wisky smoke bourbon, ard al zaafran Al dirgham. Beardo toh magically kuch zyda hi potent and project hona start hua hai.
