Pruning any shrub is important for maintaining a healthy and productive plant, especially when it bears fruit! Quick tips for pruning a blueberry bush: remove any low laying branches, damaged branches, crossing branches and a couple of inches of the tops of the shoots. Prune 1/3 of old shoots to promote new growth. Come end of summer we will see how I did. Happy gardening and good luck!

Just a tip, from that low lying branch, you could have slipped a cup with a hole in the bottom, pack with soil. After 2 years from doing so snip free of motherplant, boom you made a Clone! Called layering.. I do this with mine, free bloobs 😇 God bless you and yours.. great video!

Looks like the plant and soil has sank down a bit like normal, you could take that plant out of that container and top the bottom up with new compost and place back in, it will leave a small gap around the side due to the container shape, so you can put a bit of compost around the sides too

Can you explain removing flowers from the bush and why? I'm confused on when to do that

Just for the first 2 years, so the plants grows big and not put energy into flower/berry growth, there wont be many berries anyway, but it will sap energy out of the young growing plant, best to get it fully established first etc.
