This video shows how to upload your own map from hammer to the Steam Workshop. If you have any questions or problems, let me know and I'll try my best to help out.
@chinesepanda3781 is the previous map a default cs2 map or another one you made? If it's published to the workshop already, I imagine it won't go anywhere
@@-JimRice- In Hammer, i have a 'maps' named folder in which I saved 2 maps. One map was uploaded but when the second map was uploaded, then it opens the previous map in Counter-Strike and not the new. So like, the description, thumbnail and mod is from the new map, but the map itself is the previous. I don't really know what default means in Hammer. I don't have acknowledge about Hammer that much.
@chinesepanda3781 you should just need to delete the previous map from your maps folder. Copy it and keep it somewhere else if you don't want to delete it, but I think that's the same problem I had originally when publishing my first map
The wrong map gets published when I do this. Do you know why? It's the correct add-on. I even deleted the file that unintentionally got uploaded, and that's still the one that gets chosen.
does a default map get uploaded? I first had de_nuke being published and my solve was to delete that file and re upload my custom map. do you have multiple .vmap files in the maps folder?
