Doesn't work for me. I searched "Red Skies" by the Fixx, clicked on the song, then tried to play it to preview it. I got a pop-up saying "Purchase this track to play." I tried a different song, "Talk" by Coldplay. Searched it, clicked on it, then was able to click on the preview this time . . . but it played a completely different song. I couldn't actually get it to play the song IN THE DAMN LINK. Tried again--"If You Leave Me Now" by Chicago. Clicked to play the song and instead it plays another song on the album. What the hell? Purchasing MP3s from Amazon used to be easy. Not it's so convoluted I'm about to give up.
The Fixx! What a great band! I need to feature them on an upcoming video. Anyway, I was able to reproduce your problem. To get around this, instead of clicking on the song name, click the "shuffle" icon to the left of it and it will play the song. Let me know if that helps.
Great question. It's been a while since I used Apple to purchase music. I stopped using them because they were so restrictive about how you can use your purchased music. I can recall using iTunes to download my purchased music and then being able to access the songs from my iTunes folder in the Windows Music folder.
