Madden should really have this feature. I don't understand why they don't add things like this. Theres alot of features that should be in Madden but isn't. For example: Being Traded in Career mode, Your player actually getting injured, stadium attendance (I know NFL won't allow), better trade logic. All these are things that happen in real life but they won't add it to the game. It makes it a lot less emersive
@@Evan-dm3si I get that. EA is always going to go for the easier option as well. Usually Franchise gets regarded for Ultimate Team because that's where the money is. If they did want to make a good game they could take a few years of and actually make it but that's not how EA games work unfortunately

I did this and made the Salt Lake Orbits. I took your list of protected players and drafted one person from each team (not on the list) until I filled the roster. Took a while but so far I'm having a blast playing it.
I am already beginning a new franchise series in my channel with the St Louis Rams, but my next franchise series will be a “expansion” team. This aspect of the franchise experience is fresh and new. Thanks for the video
This is awesome. Even though it’s technically “relocation”, you put in the element of expansion. People don’t understand the work and the limits you set for yourself while making the team. Also, can you use that roster in Madden 23?
It’s “expansion” for the sake of the sake of his videos being immersive. That’s why he made an “expansion draft” to make it seem like he’s making an expansion team. You guys can’t be that dull
The expansion draft literally makes it an expansion team. I am aware that expansion isn’t actually in the game, but there’s only so much I can do when EA refuses to add it into the game. There’s no reason to try to push me down when I’m trying to make my own creative series, making my videos immersive is not the insult you think it is😂😂
Do you have a list of available players to do the expansion draft my buddy and I are starting an online franchise together and the list of available players would make it easier
In the description there is a link to the google sheet I made with the protected players for every team. Only thing to note is that there aren’t any rookies on the list because I automatically protected all of them
How can you use your team on week 1 2023....everytime i relocate a team i have to play the 1st season with the regular team. And i have no idea why i still have to use owner mode. Maybe its because i am using ps4? Anyone else have this issue??

Yes you are replacing a team but the difference is you are doing expansion in every other way only getting players already in free agency or players not protected a la Texans in 2002. A relocation would have all the same players it already had. So this is more like something in the middle. Like if a team relocates players from the team as determined by the league office get traded to teams in a trade off for players they aren't protecting. It's the best way to do it that makes it different than a simple relocation

The expansion draft portion is not relocation. In the game, yes it is technically just relocation, but there’s only so much I can do when EA refuses to add a proper expansion team
