I can't wait to try! The only thing I am unsure of is when you added the resin the second time, did you make up a new batch or will it stay ready to use for a few hours. Thank you!

You’ll need to mix a new batch. Each resin has a different working time which is how long you can work with it until it starts to set. If you waited a few hours, the first batch of resin would be very thick & you wouldn’t be able to pour it easily. If you mix a new batch, it will be runny which will help it settle into the mold much better & combine with the first pour. I hope this helps!

I bought jewelry kit on ebay with few molds you know that 70 something pieces kit from China and they have there 2 things one looks like a ring and the other one I thought its a bracelet but then I realized that this is too small for bracelet maybe for a small 10yo girl? It has only 2" in diameter so who's going to put a fist thru that? so I'm confused or maybe it's a huge earring?

Nice tutorial!!! I have a question for you. Incase, of a large pinewood tray, do we have to wait for 24 hours before pouring the second layer of clear resin over the dry flowers??

Is there a possibility of reusing the resin mix cups-or do they need to be tossed afterwards (I'm presuming you have to toss). I like to be environmentally conscious of my waste..

Stephanie Russell I leave them upside down to dry. The next day I normal pull the dry resin out.

This video helped me, but it was difficult to see the bangle after it was made because of the background and the lighting. It was quite dark.

Do fresh flowers really rotten over time? Doesn’t resin keep them safe?

The moisture in the flowers will be locked inside the resin & the resin will not dry them, so the flowers will begin to rot while being encased in resin. It’s the moisture that makes the flowers rot & the resin prevents any moisture from leaving the flowers

Thank you Sheri, for a nice instructive video. Unfortunately the surface you are working is dirty, sticky and very distracting. Appreciate your sharing - suggest you make a real attempt at having a much cleaner area when video taping
