Normally, I just use a given theme from Google Slides, but this has given me the confidence to make my own theme that would better fit my presentations. Thanks!
This is good as it gets. The author did not waste any time talking about non-related topics. You get all of the features of Power Point with out being chained to annual cost. I am not affiliated with Dave or google but I will no longer use MS Office. I bought at a discounted price, MS Office, and a lot of the functionality does not work. I just retired and use to live and died by MS. I don't see a need to paid annual fees when google slides and sheets, etc. has the same features and it is free. Thanks David.
@@x6969xsol How is it limited? I used pp for years supporting the DoD; build a lot of high-level presentations. Colleges and schools are using Google products.
David, I am 69 years old and I decided to learn how to make presentations on google thank God I found your tutorial. I would pause the video and take notes and practice at the same time. great way to explain.

Really simple and easy tutorial. I remember learning about the Master Slide in school but I forgot it because I never used it. In university I had to create multiple presentations, and as I love to add flair to my presentations, I had to edit each element individually. My senior presentation was 64 slides 😭 If only I had remembered the Master slide.

Very helpful, thanks.I thought I knew Google Sites quite well, but from you shared some interesting surprises. Specific ways to working better collaboratively and create your own layouts. Also masking images with shapes and inserting charts and tables. Great stuff! It would be improved if you slowed down, talked and moved your cursor more slowly. And paused when you complete one task before moving on to the next. Pause and take a deep breath. You cover a great deal of info and it's hard for the brain to take in!

thanks for this. I use a macpro and when I was rehearsing my presentation with HMDI, my speaker notes would show up on the screen when I click on them. when I use ppt. I can see my notes but the audience can't. any suggestions on how to do the same with google slides?
