Hello there! Thank you for you queries :) This pluggin is only for an alternative use; to do it the quick way to open OSM map data in QGIS. But if the plugin is not working, that's not a problem :) You can always download the map straight from OSM www.openstreetmap.org/ by using the Export feature, selecting your area that you want to download and then download it. The file will be in .osm format, so when you open QGIS you might not be able to see it from the menu when you want to open it. So just drag the OSM file that you downloaded straight onto the QGIS interface. It's gonna work! :) And to export this map as the final product, this depends on what you want to do with the map. In major case, people usually want to either export them as JPG or as a DXF file to be edited in CAD. I've got some videos on how to export the map from QGIS to be a ready-to-use file (either JPG or DXF). You can check it out or let me know if you can't find it. Hope this helps!
@@jessicalupita8710 Would you happen to have any methods for downloading a larger area? In my case, I'd like to export an entire city while ensuring I don't lose any attributes which I've found to happen with direct region options elsewhere.
