Here's the build for my quiet air compressor. I removed the compressor and motor from the tank, put it in a soundproof box, and moved it into my shop's attic space. Hope it's useful!
I'm rebuilding a compressor like this only with a 5.5 hp motor. This is an interesting idea. Look forward to seeing your last video on it . I would like to attempt something like this just on a slightly larger scale.
Interesting idea, I guess just moving it to the attic alone would help with the noise. but how much of a difference would it make just to locate the isolation box elsewhere in the shop. Can you do another video with you final build.
Thanks, I'll put up the final video soon. The isolation box worked great and didn't really need to be in the attic. There is an issue I found separating the compressor from the tank. I had to add a check valve at the compressor to keep the hose from absorbing the output pressure. I'll explain more in the video.
I felt I have to write this. It was interesting to initially watch this video but a total letdown that we don't even see the finished product and the sound of how good it worked in this video. Its even more dissapointing that when I search for the second final video showing it running you werew to lazy to complete it. Very lame I must say! Thanks for wasting my time and everyone elses that took time to watch this unfinished video!
@@JordanWorkshop Thanks for stepping up to the plate to apolagise in a public forum. I look forward to your next video and I apolagise for my frustrated comment as well. Thanks for takeing the time for posting these videos.
