Ian is ... by far... the most educated, reliable and experienced dog trainer. I have seen many come and go... he really understands the science and the practice. The key word (that people like a certain C.M. do not understand) is forming predictable behavior!

No idea what my pup had experienced with his breeder. He was very confident and happy when he came to us at 12 weeks old. He wants to meet all people and dogs!

I'm so overwhelmed with all the training options. We want to adopt a puppy for family pet. What is your recommendations for learning

Look for books by Ian Dunbar and Zak George. Kikopup on RU-vid. Teach your pup his name, how to Sit on cue, how to Down. Look at all the info about how to stop a pup from biting very early. After the pup is vaccinated, - listen to this video - expose the pup to 100 people, and expose the pup to 100 nice dogs, and walk the pup in hardware stores, pet stores, Feed Stores to get lots of experience.

Just popping round shop or putting rubbish out is what I mean! Feels like being under siege on top of lockdown! Jumps up my back too

I’ve had 3 “puppies” (one was a year old, and born deaf) all cockapoos; from the same breeders. They may have up to three litters at a time. All their puppies are whelped in their living room, in large horse troughs filled with kitty litter (?). The adult dogs, the moms, (about 10 bitches) and roughly 2-3 sires. Two cats live there and a big boxer. All the dogs rotate through the house, and everyone who comes into the house Ie friends, families etc meets and greets the puppies, from birth. These guys have the best temperaments, are outgoing, and all seem to be happy. When we went to FL to pick up our first guy, the breeders insisted we bring our one year old guy … Ollie Pup, for him to interact with Mr. Morgan. There’s way more to the story …If anyone is interested i’m happy to share … you’re probably able to figure out how to contact me directly. These guys are amazing. Thanks. Dr Dunbar is spot on.

I have my daughter’s tiny terrier living with me who has issues I am finding hard to deal with. For instance she has hysterics when I try to leave the house ! Tried giving bits of chicken but is this re-inforcing the habit ? Dread going out !!

Hello April. I have 30 plus years and veterinary medicine. I work with the veterinarians. I know way more than most people in the field. If you will take your dog to a veterinarian one that you have a personal recommendation From someone you know This is not hard to do Post it on Facebook and ask people in your area who they love and listen closely if anything resounds go to that doctor and tell them your issue I guarantee you it will not be difficult to get what you need to help this puppy.. They're on medications called serotonin reuptake inhibitors what it does is keep the happy chemicals that your brain makes in the brain and that will chill the puppy. Then if you are willing to take the time the veterinarian or a friend will have a trainer that will train you how to deal with the pet. It's not that hard guaranteed!

Dear Ma'am, Please consider crate training . It will sort out the issue instantly. All the best

Thank you - she had a crate at her former home but they had to part with it and the dog did the same thing at their house when they tried to leave the house - when crate was in place she seemed demented! In the past I had none of this with dogs and neither were there crates around but I also had no problems with dogs being afraid of fireworks whereas this JR gets into a rage and bites the nearest thing! Thank you for your input ..

How do I stop my puppy from bullying my 4 year old dog?
@vikingdogmanship
@vikingdogmanship Год назад
put him on a leash so you can easily step on the leash also inside the house, and controll his "freedom" and can use the word leave it command, You give freedom whenever focus change and you say good or whatever positive word you want to use to reinforce the good behaviour.
