And then there’s copper, around 80% of copper are plats on their main accounts, and if your high copper there will be people trying to derank to a lower tier, its an endless cycle when your actually copper

it took me about 2 months to eventually reevaluate my self and fix my issues to get out of low silver/high bronze. a few things you listed like placements and teams being scattered or honestly everyone doing their own thing going for kills is a big problem in lower ranks. as of now im sitting at gold 2 and 3 games off gold 1,you can eventually make it out so dont get discouraged if you still seem to be stuck in silver.
last season i was high bronze/low silver. i self evaluated and realized that a lot of it was due to bad positioning. i watched a lot of varsity gaming and learned where players come from as well as where to place myself to stop them. this season i got silver 1 off of placements and i'm at gold 2 now. what i love about this game is that it's more than just gun skill required to win a round
I’m stuck in silver and I can confirm that the main issues in teams are definitely too much roaming and spawn peaking, other issues are positioning and poor mechanics, I tend to be okay with mechanical skills but lack in my ability to hold site because 3 of my teammates are in the other side of the map, I also have poor positioning at times but do good in gunfights 70 percent of the time, another issue I noticed with my teammates was the inability to properly aim the weapons because they sit in corners and attempt to hip fire
Dude honestly, get yourself a squad you can play with that wants to win and learn the default pushes and from where to stop them. You can easily find good teammates through f.ex. the official R6 discord or through any discord from a youtuber that has a Looking for group section. Another good tipp I think is at the start of the round look at the last 3 cams because these are the outside defaults and then you have a rough idea of where they are coming from. I think if you do this you're gonna be gold pretty soon, if not evaluate yourself more, train your aim through AimLab or T-Hunt and you should be fine.
I was plat for 3 seasons, but took a break now I'm stuck between silver and gold. But what you went over, I understand where I was lacking now. Thanks man.
I got from silver to plat 3 in 2 weeks solo queue with just playing some aimlab everyday. Even after 4 days my aim was noticeable better and after 10 days my aim was really solid. It really helps winning rounds when your shots is more or less insta headshots. Aimlab really gives you the confidence you need since the tasks there is a lot harder than hitting headshots in siege... making the game feel real easy.
I'm plat 1 rn 4200+ elo and I'm scared to play unranked I don't even do bad I drop 10+ kills a game and usually win every game but playing against silvers is scary because they will hide in the pro league corners i have never seen like yesterday someone hid in the corner in electrical on bank, and when I go to engage with one of them if there is 2 or more there and you kill there teammate they will all swing no matter how many of them you kill they will still be more trying to push you, silver elo is crazy its like they have no idea how to play, they just have the best luck in the world.

You described why I can’t get out of high gold and fully stay in plat. Whenever I play with randoms, they just wanna roam and get kills. I played a match today where we had 3 roamers and me and another on site. Both of us, the site people, died. The roamers didn’t even bother coming back to site till the defuser was down and they tried to get a C4 off from below with no valk cams or anything. Just was hoping to get a lucky C4 kill. Like what?
I made Platium easily and carried my friend to it in Phantom Sight and another season (don’t remember) now I’m stuck at silver 1 winning one and then immediately loosing 1
This is the problem because I'm good at reading what people SHOULD be doing but I cant leave bronze because everytime I die I'll see where I got killed from and my immediate question "why were they even there what was the purpose of that"
I'm a gold 1 and dropped down to silver and I couldn't get out of it because of the ex plats and ex golds but the first game I played against actual silvers I won 4 0
I enjoy your vids I’m a gold 2 Xbox player tryin to get better but yeah I remember pulling out of silver it was tough because if those spawnpeekers on the team but I also had gunskill error resulting in ultimate defeat half the time but I have learned and have watched your vids for a while now so keep it goin
The problem with silver is if you are solo queuing and playing better than majority in this tank and you are usually the best player on your team, that doesn’t mean you are ranking up. You are gonna be fortunate if people listen to voice chat and even more fortunate if they make callouts.
tbh to get better is just by playing the game, but if you have already 500+ hours then i would recommend doing a self evaluation. this is just my opinion do not hate on me
@@GarfieldisdocR6 i am glad you made this video, but i do think that this videos is not for all silvers and golds etc, in siege there are many people that learn at a different pace. like me i started in steel wave i went from bronze 3 to gold 3 in the same season. i fell that this video is for people that learn at a slower pace then others. i have multiple friends that need to watch videos like this. thank you Garfield and i love you.
North star is my first season in silver and I'm one of those ex gold, Plat 3 players and yeah it feels like I'm stuck in here cuz I'm trying to hard to run a real strat while my team is running around headless, even when I try to use coms everyone wants to do their own thing. Feels like more of a grind than gold was
i’m in silver rn and i dropped because of solo q and i drop about 15 kills most games but my team mates just get dropped instantly and don’t give callouts and have about 3 kills each and i just can’t seem to win with these teammates they are just clueless
I used to be plat 2 in para bellem n was high plat 3 all the way up to steel wave after that i stopped playing an recently got back in i placed silver 3 n now stuck in high gold 3 gold is easier than silver bc theyre a bit better n im actually able to use waht I remember from before otherwise theres always weird players

Yeah ranked in Gold 2 this Season and dropped to silver 4 yet, idk my mates are completely dogwater and many games I had to hold 3 angles, died ofc, and our Mira just rushed a Fuze who was holding an angle...
I dropped from high gold, to bronze 1, I got a a unlucky streak but i was still playing well. I did not win one game for 2 days straight, I was able to climb out of bronze and back into gold. It just took awhile. Each of those games I was carrying my weight but my teammates just sucked ass.
Funny how my last ranked match was in silver and it was harder then my plat matches, some people have amazing fun skill and are bronze as they have no game sense.
Same here, stopped playing for 4 season but before that I hit plat like 7 times in a row. I’m stuck in silver and for some reason there’s always people who have been high gold to low plat on the enemy team while I get legit low ranks on my team

Instead, watch a vid of how to get out of a rank 1 higher than your's and take what the people do in that video and get to that rank, ez mode. After that, rinse and repeat.

I keep on thinking im bad at the game when I hover around silver 1 or silver 2, then realise that between silver 3 and gold 2 is essentially elo hell, between cheaters, smurfs, and the plat 1's that dont belong there, its just a nightmare of a rank.
In Silver the people have 0 map knowledge and they peek completly stupid angels again and again and often they just all die after 30sek and i stand alone versus 5 on side very funny :D
Im currently silver 1 and have been bouncing between gold 3 and silver 2 for the last week or so, and i agree with your point about mira, for some reason people at this level think they are mira gods and cannot play her to save their lives but insist on always having one
I’m still trying to get my rank are usually play objective and try to defuse and get out but when I play quick match I roam the silver is playing like it’s quick match I play like it’s competitive I only try and ranked
