What can I do if my rats get inside my bedframe and they hide and I can't get them out for a few hours? I'm never able to let them free roam in my bedroom because of this. I would like to get rid of my bedframe so I can always keep an eye on them but I'm not able to get rid of it. Any suggestions?
If you're free-ranging your rats on the floor, put together a makeshift playpen out of sheets of tall, sturdy cardboard that will keep them safe it one area; just make sure it's secure and there aren't any gaps from which they can escape. There are quite a few videos on RU-vid that talk about this. Also you can use duct tape to put up a sheet of cardboard that will stop them from being able to get under your bed.
Either a barrier like the comment above says or, I find ways to block off holes and entrances to places like that. I have a chair I had to cut open to get to them once though so I feel ya.
there are some bedframes that are just full with no space in between the floor and the bed, you should get one of these or put your bed directly on the floor
@@vamp_jay them you probablt just put them together without allowing them to get to know each other. maybe you should watch a video about how to introduce new pet rats :) i have 3 new since 9 days but baby rats and my older ones love them. but never keep just two :(
Stfu. Actually, do research oomph them, they are great social animals and you have no clue about them. Look it up, and you'd see they are like tiny dogs. They are highly intelligent.
@@arsonchild47idk how you didn't catch they were being a bitch and saying to kill them. they said TRAPS and POSION. Rat traps and rat poison. Just a toxic hater that is uneducated on rats
