Why would you top it off with cash when you already have your credit card added to Apple wallet? just top it off with credit card…save your cash at establishments that don’t accept credit cards
I transferred money from physical Suica card to Apple Pay. So by putting phone on machine, I reloaded money on my digital Suica card on Apple Pay. This is very convenient when you go through subway gates. Just tap phone and go!
No. But the set up process is pretty simple. Go to any suica machine (like the one in video), buy like a 1000 yen suica card. then add that card to Apple Pay. From then on, top up that digital suica card on your apple pay.
@@zackyboy614Wait. You didn’t do a digital Suica card? You had to buy a physical card and link it to your Apple Pay? I thought that once you top-up your digital Suica card for the first time, the card is already active and will generate a 17-digit IC card code.
Only for existing cards I think and to first put the card on your phone you need Mastercard or Amex. Visa don’t work from my experience. I see you can transfer a suica card to your phone but Japan only offers welcome suica cards and not the original one due to a chip shortage.
