IF YOU HAVE ONLY 1 KEY !!! no trouble you still can reprogram your Audi Key. The answer for how to reprogram a VAG key, when fitting new battery to key, codes can be lost.
'06 Audi A4 2.0T Worked on the second try, I had to hold down the button for 5 seconds or so for the light to blink on the fob. Great video! Thanks for the explanation of both ways to program keys as well.
@@alejandrobaez6615 follow the same steps he does in the video. including the door open and shut. and push lock and unlock. try it again if it doesn't work.if not its possible you have a problem with the key or something.
This just saved me from buying a second key. Btw if you dont like listening to that japanese every time that you turn on the car then you can just disable or remove the ETC card system. In Japan we use that for going on the highways so it is useless in New Zealand
I have 2 keys on my car, can i swap the battery on one key, do this and reprogram it, then take the other key and do the same?? Or do the both keys have to be reprogrammed at the same time with that one key door, one ignition way????
Hi I have a 2006 Audi a4 2.0 turbo I recently changed out the whole ignition and my car went into safe mode is there a way I can get safe mode off so i can drive my car lol
I have a 2012 Audi A6. One of the key FOBs works fine but the other I had not used for some years. When I tried it recently it didn't work, so I replaced battery but still didn't work. I tried the manual lock unlock door and then try, still didn't work. Then tried placing FOB near the dashboard which shows key sign, and still nothing. Has the key got desynced from the car. What else can I try?
I have an AUDI TT 2001 Quattro. I have the original Key. I have replace batteries without loosing codes. I do want to program a 2nd key fob. I am hoping someone has successfully program a 2nd KEY FOB for 2001.
@@zacksinclair7299 I fixed the SAFE problem. You can use your original key in the ignition to disable the immobiliser. If you changed your key case like I did (my old key case was really worn out), use your old case as there's a little dark grey glass tube glued inside, the transponder chip, that your car detects and disables safe mode and the immobiliser
