How to Reactivate Google Authenticator Codes When You Lose Your Phone 

I recently moved all of my info onto a new phone and wiped my old one clean not knowing Google Authenticator doesn't carry over without a QR code. Now my phone basically has a new account for Google Authenticator which prevents me from logging in to multiple accounts. Does anyone have a fix for this? Is there any way I can recover my old account. I tried looking for a solution online, but found nothing. Google also doesn't seem to want to be contacted. I tried the option in the video, but the only Google Authenticator account attached to my Gmail is the the one that was newly made on my current phone.

Ok I did everything but how do I get the authenticator codes for all of my apps that used google authenticator before I lost my old phone? For example FB is asking me for my google authenticator code for my FB account but I only see the new code for Google. Thanks for the help in advance. Really love the video.

If you have lost your phone and you have neither transferred your codes to another phone beforehand (as in the gentleman's video), nor asked for recovery codes (or rescue code), then it is impossible for you to recover your lost Google Authenticator codes because Google, like some other competitors, assumes that the QR Code that is scanned during the configuration of Google Authenticator corresponds to a unique key / identifier specific to the device used. And who says unique identifier, says that for a new device to be configured, you will have to configure a new unique identifier again, therefore a new QR Code. Thus, Google Authenticator does not have a backup / restore function for accounts that have been set up in it. Therefore, if you can no longer connect to these different accounts, you must absolutely contact their respective customer services.

@TheBrimFactor- The "Change authenticator app" is no longer available. How do you address that if no longer prompted? Also, how do you obtain codes from a lost/replaced iPhone?

Okay, so my phone got stolen a few days ago and my new phone has already arrived, but when I follow those steps when I click on authenticator app (1:32) it only says activate 2 factor authentication and doesnt give me the option to change from my stolen phone. What could I be doing wrong?

This doesnt work, I have accounts signed in from my previous phone but I'm unable to log into those now without the Authenticator. I wanted to import my old saved codes to my phone but my Google account on desktop doesnt have these saved, and only links my Google. I'm unable to log into any other 2FA accounts. I have the codes on my Authenticator app on my previous phone but that's been factory reset, how do I get those codes to my new phone?

This solve nothing because you cant sign in to other apps accounts because they will request for your 2FA before you use them on a new device.
