I'm a student persuing Undergrad degree in Medical Imaging Technology, and after watching your video I realised how much important it actually is to follow proper techniques like breathing, positioning, image contrast and all. And I'm sure this video will help me and other radiographer to do their best and provide quality radiographs for the doctors.
Excellent video sir...Am an Anaesthesia resident...I have really changed the way of reading the CXR during my PA check up after watching this video...Thank you so much for a crisp and wonderful explanation...
Hello Dr. My husband was diagnosed with gbs January this year and he was on Ventilator. Now he is off the Ventilator n on Oxygen but while they were weaning him off the Oxygen he started to complain about the left side and when he sleep on his left side his oxygen saturation was going down. After blood tests n x-ray was taken they are all clear of any infection until recently when they took the sputum from Trachea they found he has infection n he is been put on Antibiotics but he is still experiencing the same symptoms of being unable to breathe/sleeping on his left side. Can you please advise Dr?
Thank you very much, I graduated few years ago and I was still struggling with understanding CXR this the first time I found clear easy answer to my questions

Sir, how can we differentiate between consolidation and pleural effusion while assessing CXR as in both the cases there was obliterated of the CP angle.
In Pleural effusion, along with obliteration of CP angle there is curved upper border. And also, as I said earlier in this video, kindly correlate with the clinical picture of the patient as well ☺️👍
Most of the time I got confused on CXRays of B/L pul edema and ARDS.. But in this video Doctor removed my confusion! In B/L pul edema (Bat wing appearance) always look for clinical scenario and look for signs of heart failure While on the other hand In ARDS there is also B/L haziness but if u look for clinical scenario it excluded heart issues so it will b ARDS Rest was basic and well explained Thank you Doctor ❤
Thank you so much. I really was able to impress my attending by finding the diagnosis all on my own. The patient would've been impressed too but he could only survive 18 minutes. Dx was a tension pneumothorax btw.
