Bro ive been playing madden on and off since madden 05. Never got the hand of reading coverages and what adjustments to make. And then you came along. 15 years later lmfao
@@MaddenMoneyShot What you did was admirable, however,..during games vs elite players online, you dont have the time to try to recognize defenses...and after the snap you have 3 seconds to release that ball.
Im kinda the same way, ive been playing it on and off since around Madden 13 but never got how to read coverages and never really tried to learn. Started lookin up vids and caught on pretty quick
Cover zero: safety’s split far (send in motion to see if There playing man) Cover 1: 1 Safety Cornerback playing closer in. Typically Blitz Cover 2: 2 Safety’s and cornerbacks right over receiver Cover 3 Zone: Safety’s Ones Closer Ones A little Bit farther. Zone Cover 4: Safety’s really close about at the hashmarks
Common knowledge of c3, c2, c4 and man can be read based on alignments of cbs and safetys. The only thing is adjustments on the fly but even then a true passer can tell after snap
I started watching these ‘cause I thought you sounded kinda like Norm Macdonald. I subscribed bc your vids have helped me vastly improve as a Madden player! Keep up the great work.
Shit crazy Madden got to fix the fact that you be up and the opponent experiencing connection issue then you lost connection with your peer and YOU get the lost like HOW, I was up about to win especially in the 4th, 2-3 TD lead and I still get the and they get the win RUTHLESS
The “dings” at 1:45 when you inserted the arrows pointing out the safeties were a little too loud for my ear buds. Hurt my ears a bit. Just wanted to let you know, man. Other than that, this was a great, informative video. Thanks, bro.
@@MaddenMoneyShot really it hurt his ears gtfoh y'all some Terry cloth ass niggaz, A!! Dumb ass there's a button call "VOLUME" you can turn it UP or DOWN wow I don't want you to say what you really wanted to say Moneyshot I'll handle it smfh
Your vidz are the most informative. You are teaching how to play madden by teaching us basic football strategy. Watching your videos has changed the way i look at the game (both in madden and real NFL games). Thanks for your tutelage. Much appreciated. Keep it up.
I love this video 💜💜💜, shows so much in a short time. Now I just have 2 learn how 2 make those adjustments. I play on 2 different systems so it's a little confusing sometimes 😔
Focus on a safety when u snap. If they fan out towards the sideline, Cov. 2, hit'em down the middle. If they go straight back, Cov 4, something towards the sideline should hit.
CB depth means nothing when h2h online. Throwing a quick pass like a zig once is all it'll take to face press coverage the rest of the game. Any good Madden player makes multiple changes on defense. This is basic stock defenses that u never see
The same way u beat cover 2. Have a play with a deep post ready, and when u see Cov 6, audible and launch the bih down the middle of the field. To give u perspective, I use the Eagles religiously and it's money unless the Safety is an X-factor.
My favorite play is in the gun empty base flex formation middle hi lo have A do a go route B and X do slants if they're blitzing drop it off to the slant if you have enough time right bumper should be open almost every time
Or you can throw it to the right end doing a go if he's open which will happen from time to time if he's open it's usually right after you snap the ball before he reaches the safety
My guy. My offense has sucked all yr... I feel like I lost it... I need a playbook of all ur plays. A functional playbook that shows different plays when you click it.. now how much is that. And let's make that happen cuz I'm 🗑 this yr
@@MaddenMoneyShot U know we Always take the Best player available, Reagor will fit what we do, I watched the highlights of us against the Atl when we won the SB, Agholor was a Beast, so Reagor can do all that & return punts & kicks. As far as Hurts, all I can think of is Taysom Hill, adding packages for him🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@davidmorrison4416 The Jalen hurts selection means one thing to me, within the next 3 years one qb, either hurts or Carson will be gone. That sounds crazy but it's the only way it will play out if the eagles want to maximize the value of either of these qbs before their contracts run out. Think about it, if/when Carson gets hurt, Jalen comes in and shows his undeniable talent, and either qb needy teams are going to want him or he outplays wentz. And if jalen somehow takes the job, Carson Wentz will always have a market. Sam Bradford sucked and was even more injury prone, but still yielded the 14th overall pick and a 4th. As far as Jalen Hurts, no one will argue with how talented he is. He started at Alabama, the top college program in the nation, and took them to a national title game as a true freshman. That alone speaks to how special he is. He then lost his job to a top 5 pick in tua, that might have been number 1 if he didn't get hurt. If Tua didn't happen and Jalen Hurts stayed the starter in Alabama Would he have been a high first round talent? I think the answer is yes. In his 1st year as a starter in a new program he was he was first team all big 12 and newcomer of the year. The last 2 quarterbacks he followed were number 1 picks as well in kyler murray and baker mayfield. This is the class he belongs in, tua, kyler murray, baker mayfield, jalen hurts....thats good company. He is a freak athlete at qb who ran a 4.5 and tested with the athletism of a wr at the combine, so the talent is without question. The benefits of picking a qb of his caliber as a backup are numerous if not unconventional. For one i am a little relieved that we are no longer prisoners to Wentz ending our season with the next hit he takes. If anything he knows that he needs to do a better job taking care of himself and staying available to play if he wants to stay here. Number 2 we needed a backup quarterback anyway, and having a cheap player under contract at a 2nd round level will save us cap space money over the next four years rather than constantly having to overpay for veterans on expensive short term deals like the joe flaccos or the cam newtons that everyone wants, who could cost 5 to 10 million more a year than Jalen. We can't afford that now that carson is making franchise qb money and Jalen has more upside at this point anyway. Ultimately i can't help but like the pick at this point, because i like the player that Jalen Hurts is, and I don't like the situation eagles fans have been stuck with watching Wentz be unable to play when it matters most, in the playoffs. the eagles are proving that they are about winning championships, not just competing. This pick is highly unconventional, but so was the analytics approach of being aggressive and going for 2 or on 4th down that won us the super bowl. Now more nfl teams followed our example. Maybe this is just another example of the eagles thinking outside the box and being ahead of the league. The only way this doesn't work out for us is if Hurts turns out to be a bust, which i think is unlikely, but either way thats the same concern with whoever we pick. Bottom line i cheer for the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back so if jalen hurts becomes a great player and takes carson job, so be it. Go Birds🦅🦅🦅
@PBB TV if you blitz alot it helps. Because if you have someone who quick snaps you every play, you will not have time to set it up. Base align of course isnt the end all be all, but like anything, it has it's pros and cons.
@@MaddenMoneyShot depends who the safety is. If your worried about cover 2 man put the slot in an out route. Her get under the wheel if you can't get the wheel separated. That seperation depends on the medium/deep route run of the receiver vs the man coverage rating of the defender.
