I just want to thank you...a lot! For me this one long waited video is a golden seal after the previous ones. I've been reading several books and articles on the matter of cartomancy, but you are my teacher! You just made clear many confuse concepts that I had. Thank you again and my best regards from the coastal city of Ashdod in Israel,🇮🇱
Again such a great video! Wow! I'm so excited to start practicing with my cards now! My friends and I like to do tarot for fun, but I really always wanted to try it with normal playing cards. So so cool! Thank you so much! for these in-depth videos!
Great series, thank you so much. Your method is so easy to follow (for the most part). If “you feel like” (read your About statement) doing any other videos in this series, I’d love to see more complex reading. Best wishes!🌻
Hi Tommy, I will probably film more videos with the spreads focusing on specific readings, like for world events and things. At the moment it's trying to find the time! Yes combinations are not easy, but the more you practice you will see similar things cropping up again and again.
Welcome back! I'm glad to hear things are going in a positive manner for you! I feel your timing is perfect. It gave me time to learn & play with the cards. I am very comfortable using them daily after your video course. Your style & way you taught stuck with me immediately. I'm middle-aged & had read tarot for over 40 years. eh... It's tucked away, cartomancy is very "me"- blunt & simply stated. Your teaching style was perfect & I finally learned cartomancy after decades of wanting to learn. Thank you! The work with the poppet is a humorous way (to me) to do that particular type of work. Love it. Thank you for being such an excellent teacher! I have read the Professor's book. It is interesting. I found a different way for asking questions that are sort of yes/no. What pops into my mind in a few seconds is the answer. Anything over that, usually there is no answer currently. I shuffle while thinking that Diamonds=Thinking, Hearts=Feeling, Clubs=Doing & Spades=Learning. Then I ask a question, lay a card down. Amazingly, it answers with a suit that fits the question. The number fine-tunes it. I then move on to the next question. I do that before bed, but I need to maybe do it in the morning. I pulled a 3 diamonds for 1 question- Being scatter-brained. Later the next day, I pah-cocked something up to a fare-thee-well that I was making because I was not focusing on what I was doing, I was thinking of many other things at once. oops. 3 Diamonds HAD warned me, yes? laughing...
Hi Debreena, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so pleased the videos have helped you rediscover your love of cartomancy! I really like your method of yes/no questions, I've not encountered that particular technique before and I will definitely give it a go. Similar to you, I sometimes pull multiple answers to the same question, but in my case it's usually because I don't like the answer I got... and then I just get a similar answer again because I didn't listen!
@@QueenofDiamondsUK The yes/no with the fine-tune of the suit & number, is the one I use most these days. Yep, the cards will slap you upside the head if you try to ask differently or ask the same question over & over. Asking for a finer-tune- a clarification, it will give one- if it is needed. I found writing it down & looking at it again later sometimes clarifies what I did not quite "get" then. The cards are a visual connection to our intuition (gut), our inner-knowing. I have yet to not follow my gut & not regret it. It is *always* right, & it will get my attention with a "I told you so!" in some way. Mine has a twisted, dark sense of humor at times, too. laughing...
It's the second time I watch your videos and they are great. Clear and useful, no fluff, you are very nice and intelligent and an excellent teacher. Thanks for so generously sharing all this knowledge with us❤
What do you think about a Halloween cartomancy special? You can dress up, tell fortunes to the actors Like stop go- scary movie... The cards for tell all black cards with a spade as ending card😂 I would watch you for at least 2 hours. Or something not scary... tell me what you think 🤔😉
Thanks for posting this and completing your instructional card reading video ( I was beginning to think you would never do it. I hope you have pulled through your personal challenges successfully). I would love to see some practical card reading videos on world events.
No problem! Yes it's taken a while, you know how it is, life gets in the way! Thank you for being patient! Watch this space as I am sure I'll do more card reading videos in future!
You are Awesome! Your knowledge is amazing! Thank you so much! Please continue your educational videos! Can you please explain how you read the 9 spread? what does it mean when you read diagonally?
Thank you for the kind words! When I say to read diagonally I read top left - middle - bottom right as one row, then bottom left - middle - top right as another row. Hope this makes sense!
Lol. Funny you should talk about this card magic- when I met my husband who wasn't even my fiance at the time, he sent me a picture of a court card with the heart being handed over. We were engaged within a month of meeting each other
so happy to see this video! Really enjoyed your others and have learned so much since watching them. I love your no-nonsense approach and how you get straight to the point. Your style really resonates with me.
Hello Queen of Diamonds! Thank you so very much for this series. I have learned so much. You present reading playing cards in such a clear concise and easy way. I just love it! I look forward to all your videos. Many blessings from the US! ❤
Knocking of the cards from my understanding is intended to "wipe" any previous readings and prevent possibile influences from them onto your current reading
Hi Eleni, yes, I will probably film more videos in future showing specific readings, maybe for world events. I'm just trying to come up with a viable format at the moment!
Hi Emma, reversed cards aren't used with playing cards as far as I know, because most cards look the same both ways up in a standard deck. I think that is a tarot thing is not applicable to playing cards, at least I haven't seen it and don't use it!
The reason I don't show it is because my cards are so old and delicate I have to shuffle them really slowly and carefully so they don't tear, and it's pretty boring to watch that for five minutes!
