intentional, Roman numeral came from Etrusco-Roman numeral derived from tally marks. 1 is | 5 is |/ or |\ and later became V (noticed that they can be rotated) 10 is Ɨ and later X when written out the number, they only write the I after last V and all the X. later, 50 and 100 marks were introduce 50 is V with stroke (\|/) and became ↓ then ⊥ and it got simplified to L or ⅃ and 100 is X with stroke >|< later simplified to |C and then just C or Ↄ D and M are derived from the extension system called Aphostrophus where |Ↄ is 500, 1000 is C|Ↄ and a higher number can be constructed from this. later, the Vinculum system (the overbar) came into usage but not until the 18th-19th century that the Aphostrophus were completely fell out of use. the IV = 4 is just an abbreviation system.
Really needed this since we learnt this every year in maths in primary school but Roman numerals have stopped being taught in middle school that's why this was really helpful to revise using this
Well my personal favourite Empire is the British Empire followed by the Byzantine Empire, but that is really just an alternate name for the Eastern Roman Empire, so I guess that my second favourite empire is the Roman Empire after all.
@@camelopardalis84 person, I don't think anyone really cares about when you're deleting your account or what you're gonna do with it, just do what you want whenever you feel like it. No one will judge you for "not keeping your promise" haha
