@@jacquiclarke5501 Yes! When this was filmed I was in Perth, but we knew we would be moving to Melbourne shortly (moved in June). Crazy that I said "contain the spread" in relation to the fire too! In other news... I AM PREGNANT which is potentially a mix up of my other interpretation. I thought it was my daughter giving me a granddaughter in the far future, turns out, I'm giving her a sibling!
I found this video so inspiring! Especially seeing how it played out in the comments, my face absolutely lit up! I took an interest in tea leaf reading and found that a few of my ancestors read them as well. I did minimal research (as I haven't found anything my relatives could pass on to me) and decided to wing it. I felt confident and kept a journal. One of my recent readings was about covid, I had a dream a relative was trying to reach me in spirit form, but it felt like they hadn't passed in real life, a symbol in the dream made me think of one particular person- my nana , who lives in a nursing home. Fast forward, I asked my tea leaves if she was going to be okay. I got an answer like "illness, obstacle, surprising turn of events, but everything will be fine" I had no idea what it meant and felt how you described "I'm no good that doesn't make sense, I'm trying too hard", I decided to let it play out. Nursing homes in her state were being affected dramatically. Two days after my reading I got a call saying my nana was being tested, her nursing home had its first case of covid. Long story short (ish) she tested positive, with no symptoms, she's in her 90s so we all expected the worst as she isn't in the best health, but it turned out she was absolutely fine (surprising), the nursing home did quarantine and visitors weren't allowed at all which made everyone frustrated, and she had to be tested later a second time which was worrisome(obstacle) But for me, it clicked, I was like woah now it makes sense. lol. sry that was sooo long I just really wanted to share!

The reason for tapping the bottom of the cup is bc back then gypsies did it to say, "hello, and I'm opening the cup now to read from it." I read that in a tasseomancy book so I hope that's right lol
I've researched this since this video and believe it's simply to get the remaining drips out of the cup LOL BUT as a witch, I see it as 'waking the cup up' like hello, are you ready?

I have wanted this deck. I just never made myself buy it until today. I also bought the cup set as sell. I think the two together will be awesome. I can't wait to fully get it and invest in a really good lenox china cup and saucer or some of the sets I have seen on amazon. My issue is what teas to use when I use a cup.

if you do a reading for somebody else, do you get them to tell you what they see in the cup and interpret it for them? or do you look in their cup and tell them what YOU see?
Whilst you certainly can include them in the reading, most people aren't adept at recognising symbols. It is a practice that you need to hone. They'll likely see a blob of leaves where a proficient reader will see a whole story playing out.
My interpretation (1st cup)would be:you are going to get pregnant,but that is not going to end well unfortunately, and that is going to cause in your subconscious mind one deep wound. But with damnation can come also elevation,so use that experience to deepen the power of your feminine side. Don't fear it, let it grow. I hope this didn't hurt or offend you. Rule number one of divination is that you shouldn't give bad news, especially when it is unsolicited. Think about what that could do to someone. There are ways of giving information in a helpful way without including harmful things.
It's a confusing one isn't it! There's no 'wrong' answer. Honestly, I'd suggest you try both, on two different occasions. Make sure you have a little notebook handy to write down how it 'feels' to use each hand. Detail if it is easier to read the cup one way or another, and then leave both readings for a week. Come back to them and see which one 'feels' right, or is the most accurate and that should give you, personally, your best option moving forward!
The cup handle is always be angled towards your heart. The handle is basically the bottom of the cup so that you know which position things are in, whether symbols are upside down or right way up which can have different meanings. I'll be releasing an in depth course in divination early next year, with level 2 diving deeply into tea leaves. Keep an eye out! (My instagram will have the updates)
Hi, im sorry I just got done asking a question on another video im sorry. I'm just kinda watching your videos because they seem the best/most informative I've seen. But my question was, can I use the tea in tea bags? If I cut them up, and I don't have a kettle anymore, so atm i I have to use a pot, (like you would cook in), is it still possible like that?
@@jarodtatom1785 I recommend using any cup, or even a small bowl - as long as it's curved. It is simply too difficult to read accurately when it's a flat bottomed cup with straight sides. You can use a tea bag, but steep it first (in the tea bag) and drink most of your tea, THEN cut it open and sprinkle about a teaspoon into the cup. Swish, and flip as you see in the video. It's super fine so will give a different vibe to the read.
