If you want to quickly find the solution in the video go to 0:41. IMPORTANT NOTE: My device is Huawei MediaPad M3 lite 10 (BAH-L09). Please let us know the name of your device and if the reboot worked/not worked. This is important to help the community and understand if this method works with all Huawei devices or only with some of them.
@@filipbelusky6221 thank you for your comment. Please, can you make sure that you are following exactly these steps: 1) Connect the battery cable 2) Press (or select) reboot 3) Remove the battery cable 4) Hold the volume up button until the system restart. Note: you need to be quite fast between the steps 2, 3, and 4. If still doesn't work, two possible reasons are: - The battery cable is not working properly. Solution: check if your battery cable is charging your device or other compatible devices and get a new cable if necessary. - The volume up button is not working properly. You can check this, when your device is in e-recovery mode, by pressing the volume up button and see if you can select all the different options. Please, let me know if you solved the problem or if it is still not working.

Thank you very much. Mine is Huawei Nova 3i. Thank goodness the first one works, as my volume up button is damaged. This really save me. I don't want to do factory reset like what other posts/video suggests. I am very much grateful to find your video. Thank you for sharing it. :)

Same for me. My phone had been dead due to water damage. And I didn't touch it for many months recently I tried charging and the exact same problem as yours is happening.
@@rochansartchannel same here bro. My phone dived in the water too and when i tried to turn it on it keep on update. I tried to follow this tip and it work but suddenly I tried to hard reset my phone and it didn't work anymore. It says "System error" -Huawei Nova 3
@@arnolddelacruz6398 at first when I charged the phone nothing was happening. It wasn't turning on at all. Recently I charged it simply it powered on. Then shows the recovery page. I tried rebooting and it came to the lock screen but shut down again and again came back to the recovery page. And the problem still persists. Huawei GT3/ HONOR 5C
Based on your and other comments, It seems that also other people with similar Huawey mobiles as yours cannot solve the problem. Maybe with some models this method is not working and you need to find other solutions. You can do a Google or RU-vid search with the name of your device and the problem that you need to solve (for example, blocked on recovery mode or something similar). This is what I did to fix my device and it worked. Otherwise, you need to contact the company service. Hopefully, you can find the solution.
Please can you help me i have no reboot button i only have 2 options (factory data reset and download latest version and recovery) how can i exit this i need my data
Hey man, if you are trying to reset your device you should follow other procedures. In this case, you have three option: 1) Reset network settings; this will restore your Wi-Fi, mobile data network, and Bluetooth settings, including hotspot tethering and Bluetooth pairing information. It won't change other settings on your Phone, or delete any data or files. 2) Restore all settings; this will restore your device's initial network settings, fingerprint data, face data, and lock screen passwords. It won't reset settings for Find my Phone or HUAWEI ID, nor will it delete any data or files. 3) Restore factory settings; this will delete all data in your device's memory and storage, including your account settings, system settings, app data, installed apps, music, images, and documents, and restore your Phone to its original factory settings. Back up your data before restoring your device to its factory settings. My video tutorial is only for rebooting a Huawei device that is stucked in eRecovery mode. If this is your case, you should be able to reboot your p8 by following the instructions in my video. Please, let me know if you need more help.
