Thanks for the detailed video. The parts were easily changed with the kit. The main valve small black screw and washer were missing from mine when I opened it. The kit included one, so all is well.
My piston and seals look brand new still but leak like crazy. I have changed piston between two systems and it’s definitely not the housing. The pistons must be really delicate.
@@jbspeed79 my old ones looked mint until I carefully examined the seals up close and saw little tears when stretching the material a bit.....during the regen cycle it was dumping water into the brine tank and not pulling any brine as a result. Replaced with new set, works fine now, also opted not to use silicone so it lessens the chance of sediment collecting in and around the seals
Question, My plunger on my Aquasure system is very stiff and doesn't want to move up and down. It is a fairly new system. I'm afraid it is so stiff that it may break the plastic wheel. How easily should they move up and down?
Hi, when you plug the valve back in after depressurizing the system, you can either let it go through its cycle or you can manually advance through each step. To skip the steps, press the cycle button. You will notice the screen should go to the next cycle and a few dashes will appear. Once those dashes turn into a timer counting down you can press the cycle button again to advance. Just keep repeating those steps until you are back to the time of day screen. You can also give us a call and we can walk you through it! - Aplus Water
Hi! The SXT replaced the SE. The programming is a bit different, but the process for rebuilding the valves should look pretty much the same. If you don't have a meter cable, the system must not be metered or at least not metering now. You should have some sort of day override build into the programming to ensure that the system is regenerating. Hope that helps! - Aplus Water
