OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WORLD, THIS WORLD COULD BE, IF ONLY WE COULD BE LIKE FRANCIS CHAN... THIS MAN OF GOD IS TRYING HIS BEST TO HELP US FIND JESUS. WE CAN BE, JUST CHOOSE THIS PATH, BELIEVE IN THE WISDOM OF GOD, HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD & THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT... IT IS FOR EACH OF US.
The presence of the Holy Spirit should mark our lives by our love and humility. Francis is right. Salvation is not something accomplished because we have successfully persuaded someone into believing something. If that happens, it is a false conversion. Salvation happens because the living God has purposed it in His heart to save a person according to His good pleasure. What an amazing gift of grace. What an amazing love. He loves us simply because He chooses to do so. Love is an act of the will, accompanied by emotion, which leads to love on behalf of it's object. We are truly a blessed people. Let us walk humbly before our God giving Him thanks and praise for such amazing grace!

We need to do less criticizing and more uniting, for unbelievers it's hard they have their reasons but we have to remember ear we were once there in their place and even tho they don't wanna hear just believe it is up to them to choose, and god has a plan for their life we need to pray for the unbelievers and be more kind patient bearing with one another not just our fellow Christians
I actually I think that just pray for unbelievers is not enough, I mean it wasn't the word of Jesus. He says: go therefore make disciple of all the nations...( the question might be asked how we gonna do that? But He said how) baptizing them and teaching them... ( but what we gonna teach? He said too) All He had commanded to observe.Matt 28:16-20.compare also Act.1:4-8.So then what we see here is that we need to open our mouth and tell to the unbelievers about the Good News, the Gospel itself. Maybe somebody is asking himself why we need to tell the gospel to unbelievers. well, Paul says why. He say that: So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ ( the Gospel) Rom.10:18. To a better understanding read the complete chapter 10. Someone say something that I've been meditating on it. He said that" When you do not preach the Gospel to your friend, you are telling him that you don't care if he go to Hell" At first I was shocking about it and I said to myselft that hasn't been my intention in any case. But then I understood what he means. That is, if I don't preach the Gospel which is the ONLY Message that have the power to snatch out my friend from the Hell then I don't really love or care about him. So we need to preach the Gospel, not just pray for the unbelievers..
Sarah Cooke atheists spend a lot of time fighting a God they say does not exist, there has to be some kind of acknowledgement there. God reveals Himself to us throughout our lives, people expect something huge like clashing lightning & thunder, He uses vessels and does it in many different ways I believe

Ian Gonsalves There is only one true God, with a capital "G". gods with a small "g" refers to entities that are worshiped or have power, but none are the one true God. Satan is given several different names in the Bible, and this is just one of them.
It sort of broke my heart that he says he outwardly shows favoritism between his children. I can't imagine what that must do to the other 4 children. Was he just joking and I am thinking way too hard about it?
I love this guys way of getting the message across....but the wife says he is endorsing the "emergent church", does anyone know what that emergent church thing is all about??
He might endorse certain aspects such as breaking from the traditional lukewarm-ness of the American church. However, Francis is most definitely a biblical teacher and lives and breathes according to The Word. The "Emerging Church" is not so much biblical. From a quick google search the EG looks like a movement to make God and the Bible less scary and more politically correct in order to appeal to the current generation of those who aren't saved. Francis Chan is definitely not on board with this sort of doctrine.
I agree with Kalen in saying Francis Chan is most certainly not of the emergent church. In no way would he endorse their doctrine of universalism (everyone goes to heaven). He is Christ centered and God speaks through him.
+Stacy Rosa what stories? And where did you here that from? I ask Because I've heard that response before and the stories I think you are probably talking about are actually pretty different but people have tried to make them look the same to disprove Jesus.

Even you have faith if you believe all faiths are make believe. You watched this because you are double minded at the moment wanting to know why you don't believe or why other's do, little do you know Jesus loves you as well and is calling you.
The comment made strumstick joe is not relevant or logical, any physicist can tell you that there is no such thing as empty space and even a vacuum that was once thought to be void of all matter has been found to contain energy. Regardless of all of this we should keep him in prayer because if he believes that he is surrounded by emptiness then he needs his life filled with God.
