You have to dvac the system and hold it down to negative pressure and add oil to the components that were replaced and add some dye to also check for leaks from your vacuum pump gauge then install your freon

The fan in the front stops for a while then turns on and turns off again and it seems my air is still hot and gets little colder when that fan spins

Hello . I have a 2012 cruze 1.6 LDE petrol and it turns on the compressor without me activating it. it connects for 20 seconds and disconnects by itself and after 40-50 seconds it connects again and that's all it does. what would be the cause?

Hi, please advise me. I have chevrolet cruze 2015, the AC PIPE LINE IS FREEZING, And AC WONT WORK. then my temperature heat gauge goes high up. I did change the heat sensor but still same thing happened. Thank you in advance

Well I had a Similar issue for me it was the connection that goes on the temperature sensor and the radiator fan that wasn't working.

Do you have to vacuum out the air before you add freon? or is it not necessary?

If the car has no freon, you should. Get the air and water vapor out of there first. You can also use the vacuum to look for leaks. If you turn the vacuum off, the pressure should hold steady. If it loses vacuum, then you have a problem

So I've been fairly handy fixing my 2013 Cruze anything from OEM turbo replacement to valve cover replacement. I also did vent gear behind the dash, with that being said I lost ac to half my car. I think it has to do with a vent in the air box. I hit a big pothole to other day now i have no ac. already checked the obvious things (fan, condenser clutch engaging, cabin air filter.) Any ideas on this one and how hard it is to get to the airbox.

While filling you car up with the refrigerant do you squeeze the handle down all the way? Or do you slightly squeeze it until the needle gets into the green?

Probably late but for future references. Just press the handle all the way for 5-10 seconds and let go. Check the pressure and do it again until it’s on the green.

just get a leak sealer that you pour into the coolant part and it will be fixed

Bad compressor most likely mine cause high pressure and the AC clutch wouldn't engage and I would get a warning light my car was overheating when it wasn't.

I have a 2012 Cruze.. the can is in the red zone. It was working last week and just gave out. I checked all the fuses under the hood and inside the cab. does letting out pressure help until its in the green.

In a 2017 sonic the low pressure is the lower one in black. The high pressure it’s a blue looking one with a H on it. Used the same instructions and it worked. Roughly the same location. Thanks for the video
