How to recharge Mercedes-Benz AC System - Easy Steps 

Perfect instructions! I've never charged mine before and thought it was some difficult task. Less than 10 minutes later, I have icy cold AC. Thank you for this video because it's 102 degrees in Texas today.

This tip just worked on my GL550 2015 after I replaced my AC compressor. Took a can and a half

Make sure not to fill on the wrong port. It come in high and low port. Check the head of the cap, L - is the low port and H - is the high port. L port is your go to port for refill

There are two ports - a high and low. Don't charge on the wrong port!

How many psi are in each can ? .

How do l let pressure out of the ac line

1998 C43 A/C issue - does this system have a "blow off" valve if the system pressure is too high? 2 weeks ago it was 100 degrees and I was on the highway going about 65 - air blowing nice and cold. All of a sudden I heard a belt squeal followed by steam/vapor/gas coming out both sides of the car. Initially I thought the cooling system blew but a quick glance at the temp gauge showed the engine was fine. I then noticed that the air was no longer blowing cold. What I saw was the freon escaping. I've checked the codes in the HVAC display - none. I've also checked the pressure - 6.6 - so clearly low. I can't find anything obviously wrong with the hoses nor the condenser w/ a rock strike or crack. They all look good. Normally when freon is leaking there would be a wet spot from the oil. I'd also think with the gas venting out in such a spectacular fashion a breach would be obvious. I can't find anything wrong on a visual inspection.

Holding your bottle wrong. Didn't say anything about putting on recirculate air setting. Look up how to hold the bottle. When compressor kicks on is when you fill

You need to fix the leaks first before you charge or you just keep on charging it when it low again. Thanks for release Freon in the air.
