Hey everyone!! If you’re looking to build your surfing, I’ve built a platform and community to do just that - feel free to check out longboardsessions.com/

I’m at the point where I’d say I’d pay for this content just to get an advantage over everyone else. You’re giving so many pearls of wisdom away for free on their subject I’ve not seen mentioned anywhere else before.

Bravo! Super helpful. Love the focus on what is ahead rather than the misinterpreted, thinking about what is behind, stall into pocket placement noserides. Step, reset, then look for the wave to build. This video along with the perfect angle in paddle in video are my favorites. So critical, to know when we are doing something right or wrong, not just trying to copy the pros. That’s when it all goes awry. The ocean is so dynamic, your simply understood, tips, are exactly what we need to progress. 😊

Once again thanks so much Lance!! I’m super super glad this one has been helpful as well🤙🤙 It’s always hard just watching the good examples of what the pros are doing I agree! Hope you’re finding waves - yewww!!!

Hey Ben, great breakdown. Since you ask for suggestions of future content, I’d really like to see how you approach reverse walk backs, and how they differ from frontside to backside, please. Also, maybe some backhand hang 10 material, specifically weighting the inside rail. Cheers!

Hey Thomas!!! Super glad you liked it/found it useful 🤙🤙 Okay epic!!! I’ve pencilled those down and will do a bit of brainstorming on getting those into the edits! Really appreciate that will hopefully have those out soon - yewww!!! 🤙🤙🙏

That would be amazing! I’m pretty certain there’s no other tutorials on RU-vid. I’ve developed my own methods, but would love some pointers to help smooth it out and improve 👍👍

This was so helpful, thank you so much for this specific view point. I've always tried to stay in the "pocket" not realizing im on the shoulder of the wave, was able to make the adjustment immediately!!!!

Hey Mike!!! Epic!!! So stoked this helped, it’s a very common thing and something I still have to pull myself back on especially when the waves get bigger! Again stoked it’s helped, if there’s anything else you’d like to see please let me know - yewww!!! 🙏🙏🤙

Sweet. Just mentioning that 'head up' also stops the weight of the head, as a surfer looks down at the board nose, from adding an extra load pushing down, assisting in reducing the effect of the body weight on the board nose. A take off 'fade' helps too, by bringing the board to a position where the tail is below the curl, the white water is then pushing down like a 'seesaw effect', counteracting the surfers weight at the front of the longboard.🏄

So so helpful ! My biggest issue is that I'm looking at my board all the time and not the wave, I don't know how to correct that

Really a great focused video! I really enjoy all your videos. For topics: you're being a goofy foot as well is a big plus..so little content for us. Could use your approach to rights: like when to use a fade vs angled takeoff . Also my kick-out is much better going left. ..just kind of ease out at the end on a right.

I am having an issue with rushing to tens. I find myself overcommitting certain sections and nosediving. Possibly from lack of patience?! Thanks for the videos 🤙

Thanks for another great video. Not sure if you've made a video about this but I'd really love to see a comparison between PU and EPS longboards for nose riding. Seems like everybody is talking about it but for shortboards only. 🙏🏼
