This is such an informative helpful overview of PreSonus Studio One, better than any I've watched to date. Your pace was exactly what I needed to be able to follow you. Your explanations were so clear and understandable. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and skills. I can give editing another try with some expectation of success now.
Hello, I hope you can help me. I'm using Studio One V2 for V/O. When I record, my levels looks fine and when I listen it sounds loud and clear. However, when using the export mix down to make a WAV file, the volume is very very low where I can turn the PC volume all the way up and I can't hear it very well. Any thoughts? FYI, the PC that I use to edit videos is not the same PC that I edit my videos on. The low volume is experienced after making the wav and transferring to the video editing PC. I'm very confused
Hello! I'm so sorry to hear that you're having difficulties with the volume level. If you use the Youlean Loudness Meter that I described in the video to check the final level of your recording before you export it, it should be consistent regardless of which PC you play it back on. I'd suggest that you go to www.presonus.com and, under "Support", check out the "Studio One V2" section of the Knowledge Base to see if anyone else has had a similar issue. You can also check out forums.presonus.com to ask a question about the issue you're experiencing. I hope you find a solution to your problem, and I wish you the best with your recordings!
@@valorexcel Thank you very much. Your video did actually help me out with one other problem that I just started encountering. you recommended that the default setting of 44.1 kHz be used and mine was set 194. It was taking two hours to mix down the song where previously it would only take a few minutes. I could not figure out why until I reverted to the default setting as you suggested. Thank you again!!
