I've been trying to set up my audio through OBS for soooo long. Going through a DAW would make you think that streaming a software that makes sound would make it easy to configure sound output through OBS but that would far from the truth. You solved all my issues in the span of 4 minutes and for free!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Holy crap man, I have been struggling with this for YEARS, I was using the interview setting on my yeti to pick up the audio from my speakers, that's how jank my set up was, I tried finding help at least 5 times and none of the videos were this simple. Thank you thank you

Evan you saved me. I'm an old lady and new to a lot of this so when I was trying to set up a small studio with my ancient mac mini and obs there were so many issues! So I've been chipping away at getting everything set up and this was one of the last hurdles I had, getting the audio to work on the screen recording. Thank you so much for this! OMG. THIS IS SO HELPFUL. I was using Caster, another app to record audio with, but the audio sounded kinda scuffed. With Blackhole, the audio sounded great! Thanks for this tutorial!

Thank you. This quick and easy ! works for Mac. Just make sure to go to System settings > Sound > and make sure you're selecting Blackhole 2ch as input and output when recording.

I used to try and do this with Soundflower back in the days (and the OBS version still installed on my Mac was v0.16.2 lol) and it was so hard and unclear for the young me lol. Thankfully today you have new, easy ways (Blackhole) and great tutorials (yours!)! Thanks chief!

Thank you so much because it's been days since I was stuck with my "Macbook Speakers". When I check OBS for my desktop audio, Macbook Speakers didn't exist. When I click desktop audio it said no sources were selected, I was so confused. But when I saw your video everything works out fine when I install Blackhole. Again thank you.

@@jamie206 I think it might work. That’s what I tried. It seems like for Macs the entire system needs to refresh to take on the change. Shouldn’t take long. Let me know if restarting worked if you want!
